"Bay towers has a great view of the sea. The night time breeze was priceless. You didn’t need a/c or a fan at night. There were 2 restaurants within walking distance. The Happy Lobster was fantastic! Hotel is on the north side of Caye Caulker and it’s very quiet. Would definitely stay there again."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Xanadu Island resort. The hotel is hidden in a lush setting. The bedrooms are comfortable although they are not as roomy as they look on the pictures. "Our family stayed here and had a wonderful time. It's just as described, and Aileen, Randy, and their staff were all very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Our 4yo especially enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool! (Incidentally, we loved being able to enjoy the rooftop space, along with 2 patios off of our condo.) The property is very clean, well taken care of, and a wonderful place to stay while you explore the island. We also felt secure and appreciated being able to rent a cart from them...

"Definitely would stay here again. Bought my mom here for Mother’s Day and it was really nice. The property had really good communication and even allowed us to check in earlier than scheduled timing. Beds were comfy and house keeping everyday was a plus, just wish they would come earlier in the day instead of 3pm when you would like to take a nap but all in all I Would recommend "

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "This place is not as advertised. Terrible wifi. Dilapidated exterior and surroundings. No beach access! Mosquito infestation m. I checked out the very next day and would have nit even stayed that night but was stranded. It’s a deserted island. Period! Don’t stay here!!!!!’nnnn"

"Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. "The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children."
