Cute place
The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.

Perfect family spot
Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay here! There was a golf cart waiting for our arrival to take us to the cabins. The property is far enough from the main townsite that it was nice and quiet in the evenings. The pool was well loved by our kids to help beat the heat. And the cabin itself was perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful stay.

One of the best stays on Caye Caulker
Low Caye Cottages is perfect for our family of 3! Lovely setting in peaceful palms, colorful cottages surround a tranquil pool ready for relaxation. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the full size refrigerator and ice trays. Drinking water on tap. Just close enough to the bustle of the village, yet far enough to chill. AC was point!! Thank you Jeff and Michael Joseph for hosting us (again!), until next time—

The cabin was cute. My kid love the top area, unfortunately, he didn’t want to be up there by himself. So my husband was stuck up there. Then, if you’re trying to watch TV you gotta keep it really low because everybody can hear everything. We had to move the furniture because it was just not facing correctly. The chairs are so uncomfortable to relax and enjoy. Then I went to the downstairs bed, and for some reason started itching a lot. I continue searching the bed and it was definitely little bugs all around the corner edges at the top I took pictures and told the manager about it and wanted me to get the bed from another cabin. I just cleaned it the manager did offer to come over to vacuum it but due to the time I just didn’t want anyone in the cabin. So I did it myself. Not what I wanted to do in my vacation after cleaning I finally lay down my first night exhausted. The bed was extremely hard then I had to fix all the shades. Most of them were broken or couldn’t go up or down . I had to fix it morning light would definitely come in beaming on my face . So, so I had to take care of that, luckily I had some tape so that I can get some privacy while laying in bed . At this point I was done. Another thing I didn’t like is that there was a light in the shower where the drain is. The steps had green slime possible slip accident. Then it’s time to take a shower and there’s hardly any water coming out of the shower. The flow was really slow. My experience

Lovely stay!
A perfect place to stay if you are in Caye Caulker for several days — a great home base with kitchen facilities. We stayed here on our honeymoon. Access to semi-private pool is fantastic and rare in the area. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the restaurants but feels much shorter and was very quiet at night for sleeping. Everyone is very nice and we felt very safe staying at the property. Highly recommend!

Cute cottage on a quiet street of Caye Caulker. The ladder to reach the upper loft is quite steep. The place is pleasant, modern, well equipped, clean, with effective AC. Great place to stay

Lots of pluses, some minuses
The property on arrival was very clean. The location was quite and having a pool on site was wonderful. It's close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like a private retreat. The beds... Oh the beds. The main floor bed felt like it was just covered springs. The mattress in the loft was better but not by a lot. After the first night we ended up bringing in two pool chair cushions to put under the sheet to have some padding while sleeping. Some of the towels and pillow cases had excessive wear in them. I was surprised there wasn't a first aid kit but not a big deal. Most of the Roman shades were broken and the drain in the shower needs replacing. It was mangled and sticking up in spots but screwed down. Could be a cutting hazard. We were the only ones staying in the group of four cottages. I can see it being a lot during high season. This is a beautiful property and we did enjoy our time here but it could use some upgrades for the price.

Sweet little getaway!
Cabana was just as expected from listing. Very comfortable and well-appointed. In a neighborhood off the beaten path, loved the landscaping and all the birds chirping! Pool was perfect temperature and a fun way to end a day. Mattress and bedding was comfortable. (Ladder up to loft was a bit steep!) The two air conditioners kept us cool. We really enjoyed our stay at Low Caye Cottages and look forward to coming back!!

Charming rental with great neighborhood feel.
We are a family of four including two teenage boys. We love the coral cottage and having the pool right there. While the house is not exactly close to the main strip, having bicycles available was an added bonus that enabled to us to get all over the island. We rode bikes to dinner, to our fishing guide, to our diving excursions, and to explore both south and north parts of Caye Caulker. Quiet at night. While we might’ve preferred being closer to the water, we loved our stay.

Best vacation ever
We had the best time in the sweet little pink cottage. From door to door service from the ferry to the house, to how easy check in was, Lambert and Michael made our getaway fantastic. The pool was magical, we frankly enjoyed lounging by the pool more than at Koko King and the Split. AC was awesome, place was modern and incredibly clean, the only things we wished for was a bit more water pressure and a softer mattress. Other than that, we loved every part of our stay! Michael even let us stay late and enjoy the pool longer before our late water taxi out. Definitely recommend, STAY HERE!! You’ll feel like you’re staying at a 5 star resort in a cottage by the sea.

Charming, tucked away oasis!
This place was just what we needed. It’s a short walk from everything, yet we were secluded enough from the business of the downtown. It was clean and well-kept. We really liked the courtyard style pool with the beach chairs for some RnR. Our neighbors were welcoming as we all used the common space. When we come back, we will be staying here again!!

Cute, quiet, clean cottage
We had a lovely stay in Jeff's cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious and the pool and deck are wonderful. The area is quiet but a short bike ride or walk into town. Jeff and his team are professional, reliable, and friendly. One thing to note is that groceries are somewhat expensive on the island and since there is not much in the cottage already it might make sense to pick up some staples before you arrive.

Good location and clean.
The house was clean and well appointed. It is one of four on the property with a shared pool. Another family staying on the property had two small children who were extremely loud and it was impossible to enjoy the pool. There is also construction going on next-door, even on the weekends.

Required amenities but expensive for not being near beaches and restaurants.
This property has all the required amenities, such as air conditioning, kitchen, etc. and MIchael, the property manager is always available. The big drawbacks are that it isn’t close to the beach or near any restaurants. Other than the outside colors of the cottages, there is no feeling of the island. Very disappointing choice on our part.

Nice and Convenient
After some confusion on how to get into our rental house everything went well. The cottage was clean and located very close to the village and beaches. Michael the property manager showed us around town and suggested good places to dine at. We rented bikes and it was very easy to navigate the island. We were the only ones staying at the cottages so it was quiet and we had the pool all to ourselves. The kitchen was stocked with enough pots and pans to easily cook a great lobster dinner. The whole environment was friendly and fun. Another review said that there wasn't always hot water and we also had that issue. When you are on a tropical island it doesn't seem to matter that much and I know Michael would have fixed the problem had we told him. That said I would definitely return to the cottages and Caye Caulker. Kate M

Perfect Place to Spend a Relaxing Week in Caye Caulker!
We absolutely loved our experience at Low Caye Cottage. Ceci, Alfonso, Mike, and everyone else we encountered during our stay were friendly, hospitable, and extraordinarily accommodating. The cottage, pool, and grounds were impeccably clean, well-stocked, and in pristine condition. My husband and I always felt safe and our belongings secure. The property is located on a quiet street just a short bike ride from the bustling town. Even the neighbors were amiable and gave us recommendations on things to see and do around the island. We will absolutely be making a return visit next year and bringing some friends along with us.

Great place
Very new and clean - Rocky met us at the dock and took us to the cottage. It's off the beaten path a bit and it was very rainy while we were there so we rented a golf cart to get around a little easier (if it's not rainy then bikes would work fine). My only concerns were the loft - it's a little scary descending that ladder (you kinda get used to it!) and as others have mentioned in reviews there is not hot water. That wasn't an issue for us, but if it's a concern for you be aware. Air conditioning worked great and his property manager Michael was awesome. Since there are four cottages all together, my friend and I agreed it would be an ideal location for a family reunion or a large group of friends wanting to get together. I'd definitely stay there again.

A true island experience, relaxing stay in a lovely cottage
We highly enjoyed our stay in the coral cottage on Caye Caulker in late July! I traveled with 2 of my friends from Texas. Pictures are true to form. Nice amenities like AC, cable, beach towels, a local phone to use, and bikes to rent ($5 US per day). Oh ya, and there's a pool, but we may have jumped it once the entire time. There is SO much to do on Caye Caulker than lounge in a pool, but it's a very nice feature to have. This cottage is about a 3-5 min bike ride from the center of local shops and restaurants and about 8 mins to "The Split," the local and tourist waterside bar. Michael and Ceci, property managers, were very accessible the entire stay. They arranged a golf cart cab to pick us up from the water taxi, helped us get new towels, and had somebody bring our bikes to the cottage. Only drawback would be the shower that seemed to only have cold water but when you end up sunburned like we did and exhausted from the heat, it didn't feel too bad. We also got so preoccupied with other things on our stay that we never asked anyone to look into it or fixing it. We really liked staying a tad bit south because it was very quite and peaceful at night and in the morning. Highly, highly recommend this stay to friends and family! Caye Caulker is so laid back and really puts you in that vacay mood of forgetting about everything else. Belize in general has a ton of activities to do, we recommend visiting the Mayan Ruins on the mainland and snorkeling on Caye Caulker. Also, bring cash, it's best. Amazing food on Caye Caulker, everything is fresh, the locals all speak English and they're friendly to everyone. We can't wait to go back, and when we do, we'll be staying at this cottage or one of the others next door from the same company. Thanks Jeff, Michael, and Ceci for making our stay great!

Perfect little get a way!
I stayed at this property with my two high school aged boys in the summer of 2016. The house is the perfect size for up to four people. It was new, clean, included everything from towels and shampoo and soap. AC worked great. Michael the property manager does a wonderful job. It is everything that the pictures show and description says. The pool was perfect after a long hot day. I would suggest renting the bikes. The worst thing I could say would be the hot water is a little spotty, although a cold shower in the evening felt good! I would definitely recommend this property to others and / or stay agin!

Quiet location, very clean property, attentive host
Jeff was very accommodating with our requests before booking the property. Jeff's property manager, Michael, met us at a restaurant (Sports Bar & Grill, great Bloody Mary's!) near the water taxi docks and arranged a taxi for us to the house ($15 Belize). He showed us around the place and was always available via a provided cell phone when we needed him, but we always had as much privacy as we wanted, too. The house was clean and well stocked with coffee pots, silverware, water and other basics. There was even coffee in the freezer and two beers in the fridge to welcome us. The pool was incredibly clean and while we went swimming at the beach more often than at the house, it was certainly a nice touch. The walk to town is an easy 5 or 10 minutes, and plenty of taxis on the road if you don't want to walk. You can walk the entire way across the island to the Split, a busy swimming area full of young kids partying, souvenirs, stuff like that, or stick to the center of town for a little more relaxed vibe. My only complaint is that the water for showers was hit or miss. Sometimes hot and lasting long enough to shower, other times for hours at a time it wouldn't be hot. Michael dos try and remedy this but apparently it's a fault in the system. Use of the washing machine and dryer in the basement, even for a fee, would have been nice too. But this is a great place to cool off (AC worked great!) in between exploring Caye Caulker or even just to take a day off and cook for yourself, swim and relax.

Great place to stay if visiting caye caulker
We arrived in caye Caulker on April 26, 2016, we decided to rent a golf cart as soon as we got there. The check in procedure was really easy and the property manager made sure we had everything. We had some really nice neighbors during our eight-day stay, The houses were very clean and the AC worked great ! We loved that they provided beachtowels for us !! We will return very soon !!! A lovely quiet place to stay
Low Caye Cottages are a wonderful place to stay on Caye Caulker.Michael and Danny are terrific and look after you and make sure that all your needs are met. Make sure you rent a bicycle so you can explore this lovely island! The cottage is super clean and in a great location. All amenities are close by. My favourite place to eat was Little Kitchen-it wasn't always open so you needed to check in periodically to make sure you can catch it when it is open.

Fantastic Caye Caulker Cottages
We really enjoyed our stay at the Low Caye Cottages in Caye Caulker! There was a golf cart taxi waiting for us when we arrived via the water taxi and Micheal, the Property Manager was very helpful. The cottages are situated in a nice quiet area of the island and when you woke up the in the morning all you could hear is the coo of doves close by. The cottages themselves are beautifully built and plenty big enough for two people, although they can sleep 3 to 4 if need be. The pool was well maintained and was very welcoming with the hot/humid weather. A nice place to hang out if you don't feel like being in town. In summary, I would definitely recommend these accommodations and we would go back for sure!
