Pool was broken and was not alerted until we got there… so we had sad kids. We also found a pair of boxers behind a foot stool. Not the best experience due to those two things. Otherwise I’m sure it’s fine.

One morning, I went downstairs and there was a basketball game on TV. I asked the wait staff if we could change channels so I could see more about the Iran/Israel issue that was unfolding. I asked if the person to switch to FOX news, she replied: "we are not allowed to show FOX news but should switch the channel to CNN". Second, both mornings of my stay, I left the hotel and a male with purple and green hair was stationed at the front desk. Is this really the first interaction you want your guests to have in the morning or upon check-in? Seriously?

Ken,We do typically keep our channels on sports, but would change them to a guest preference if asked. I will check into why that was not done in this instance, thank you for bringing that to our attention. On your second point, however, we do strive to be an inclusive and open employer within the Cedar Valley and are known as such and will continue bolster inclusivity for both our guests and staff. As in all hotels of the world you will interact with individuals of all backgrounds, colors, preferences, and personalities.

Poor booking service - Pay double $ - idc
Stay was fine; however, the manager was less than helpful to resolve a room block issue and didn't care to help b/c he was sold out and we had to pay over double for the reservation. Would have booked elsewhere but it was a full weekend with UNI-dome tournament. Hotel was nice and breakfast/bar crew was extremely friendly and helpful!

Shannon at the front desk was amazing. I was having a rough time with my last hotel so I left it never will go back to it. Shannon took the time and helped make my bad situation into a great one. I appreciate her and the room was very clean and nice.whenever I come into town again I will always pick this one. Very clean place to be.

Very clean and modern. Lots of areas for people to socialize. Felt bad for the bartender. She was only one tending bar, taking food orders, running food out from kitchen. Place was busy for a Friday night to be understaffed. Not impressed with the food. Small menu of bar food. Prepackaged warmed up food at that. Bar stools ver not comfortable. Guess they don’t want ya staying long. Other than that, place was very conveniently located for us as we were there to go to the UNI football game.

Great atmosphere (more so for adults) and clean facility. I wish breakfast was included- especially as a big family that is usually a deciding factor for us.

We had the most relaxing stay. The location was close to shopping and food and the hotel itself was clean and chic. Very stylish. We were so comfortable they we stayed an extra night.

Great Team
From the moment we walked in, we knew this would be a good stay. Bright, clean open lobby; friendly staff; easy check in. During our 5 day stay, we noticed how hard the staff was working throughout the property, maintaining and cleaning, smiling and working! Great work ethic from front desk consistently to everyone throughout. Shannon was especially helpful with helping us find resources in the area for a particular need - way above and beyond and then later we saw her mopping the floor - just to keep the front area clean. Kudos to management for enabling such great team work!
