Beautiful cabin
Every thing we needed was in the cabin except ant spray. Plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Brevard is close if you need anything. The cafe is a mile away with really good food.

Good little cabin
This was our second stay at this location. The cabin is tucked away from the road just enough to give you that cabin in the woods feel. The location was great for us. The only difference from our last stay and this one was the central air was working on the cabin last time and this time there was a single window unit in the main living area. This was July and it took several hours to get the bedroom cooled down at night. Other than that it was a great stay.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway
Property location was central to the areas we were visiting (Pisgah/Gorges/DuPont). Brevard was 15 miles up the road, so convenient for shopping, gas, and restaurants. We enjoyed using the grill and the fire pit. And we loved coffee on the covered porch each morning!

Nice and tucked away
Had an excellent stay, the cabin is cozy, everything was clean and all you need to have a good cabin getaway. Visited DuPont State Park, great hiking to multiple falls, beautiful! Day trips back to Caesars Head and Table Rock are easy and Brevard is 10 minutes away for dining, groceries. Recommend.

This cabin is fantastic. I love staying here. Clean, beautiful, comfortable and amazing yard. The location is private yet close to MTB trails and hiking. Or if you want a cute mountain town, Brevard is right down the road. Love it here and so thankful to have found it.

Private oasis right in Cedar Mountain - Beautiful Log Home - Great Community
We had an amazing time at this cabin. Very clean and has everything you need to prepare an awesome meal. Bed very comfortable. Check in and out was super easy. Private location to relax and enjoy the cool, crisp mountain air. The hammock got lots of use. The locals in the community are amazing and welcoming. There is so much to do in the area and the fall colors were outstanding. We will certainly be back to stay at this wonderful cabin. We have found our new area to visit. Side note: no cell service which we LOVED ! Total disconnect is exactly what we needed. Wifi is available from the property.

Perfect location
We had a lovely time and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our plans to bike at Dupont State Forest and to hike in and around Caesar's Head State Park. We shopped and ate in both Cedar Mountain and Brevard. As other reviews have said, you can hear cars go by on the road (not that many), but you can't see anything but trees. We cooked and grilled and had a fire. It was a great time!

Cedar mountain getaway
The cabin was sufficient for our stay, very quiet and secluded. It was located in the woods so it did stay damp inside, Which is something that we aren’t used to coming from sunny Florida! It would be nice to put a dresser and rugs in the master bedroom so there is a place to keep folded clothes (just one nightstand is too small) and your feet don’t get cold when you get up each morning. We kept our folded clothes in the other bedroom and there was a carpet in that room as well which helped our feet stay warm while getting dressed. The master has no tv, the other room has one. The bathroom has no place to hang your wet towels and it doesn’t have a hairdryer so those things might be beneficial to include before your next guests arrive. We enjoyed the living room and kitchen, and the washer and dryer was helpful as well. The cooler temperatures were wonderful! We loved the area, waterfalls, cooler temperatures, small towns… It was a nice getaway!

Best vacation for anything and everything
This cabin is everything you could ask for!! I was worried when I saw that the porch was in the front yard but it sits back from the road and very private. Very clean and well equipped. Has everything that you need! Close to everything the falls, shops, stores, restaurants. You would never know that you are about 15 minutes from everything. Private and relaxing great porch for just chilling. I believe this is a PERFECT getaway and we will definitely be back as soon as possible. Donna and Keith the hosts/managers are great people and are very responsive in a timely manner

My husband & I stayed for a long weekend with our fur babies and the cabin was awesome. It was far enough away so you felt secluded and peaceful but within 20 mins to any trails we wanted to go on, restaurants & breweries. We will definitely stay again.

Great cabin in the woods
Our family enjoyed staying there. The front porch was our favorite place to spend the mornings and cool evenings. No fans in the bedrooms, which I'm sure is fine in the cooler months. They did provide a fan. Had all essential kitchen items - cookware, coffee pot, dinnerware. The location was great. Secluded house in the woods. There's a dollar general store and a few local restaurants down the street. Lots of local hiking trails, and only about 30 minutes from Brevard, for more options of restaurants and stores.

Nice cabin in the woods - great for hiking / exploring
This is a very nice log cabin located in a private location just off a small highway. The home is very nicely furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen and all comforts of home. The wifi was easy to access and the TV system was nice to enjoy after a long day of adventure at the local hiking areas (Dupont, Mountain Bridge, Pisgah). Thank you for providing a nice place to base our NC fun from!

Great Spot
My family of five enjoyed this cabin over Thanksgiving. We found it to be clean and have most items one would need for cooking. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we all slept really well. We loved how the cabin was private, yet only 15 minutes from DuPont State Park with beautiful hiking abs mountain biking, and 15 minutes from downtown Bredvard with great shops and grocery stores. We also enjoyed the local markets in Vedar Mountain and enjoyed chatting it up with the locals. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location for DuPont state forest
The location is perfect for visiting DuPont state forest, it’s also 20 minutes from Brevard and 30 minutes from Hendersonville. We’ve stayed in this area before and really enjoy it. The cabin layout is comfortable. The cons are as follows: Lacks cleanliness- found a maxi pad wrapped under the bed (actually my 9 year old found it) The linens and towels were stained The carpet in the bedrooms is just icky The water pressure is AWFUL except in the shower The outdoor area is not well maintained The communication with property management was excellent until I sent a photo of the maxi pad wrapper and then I never heard from them again.

Log Cabin in the woods
Very spacious and nice log cabin in the woods. Pictures were accurate of the property (loved the front porch). We went up to explore Brevard waterfalls and the cabin was centrally located for what we were looking to do. You are in the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. We had a couple small issues that is to be expected with a house in the woods but Donna from the property management company was very responsive in providing updates and putting our mind at ease. A hidden gem.
The space was perfect, larger than expected. It was well stocked and clean. We were given detailed instructions regarding our stay and what to do when leaving.. The location was perfect for what we planned to do—- some hiking, visit some of the waterfalls nearby, and go by Symes chapel. Especially enjoyed the firepit both evenings. Will definitely recommend to friends.

A very convenient and peaceful cabin in the woods in Brevard NC. Too many trails to choose from! All within a 10 minute drive from cabin. Brevard has an excellent dining and shopping scene only 15 minutes away. Would stay again!

Surrounded by trees, the cabin at Cedar Mountain was very clean and well- stocked with necessities. We loved it! The only negative is the driveway. It needs some gravel or asphalt to fill the ruts.

Remote get-a-way to decompress
The property management team did a great job tending to our needs. We wanted a quiet, cozy get-a-way for my birthday weekend and did just that. Would have rated the overall experience higher, however, did not have hot water for close to 3 days (Friday night thru Sunday early evening). Then when we had hot water, we had to turn the shower all the way to HOT to improvise the shower to actually work, this proved problematic with small children and an elderly lady with us (my mom). However, this was because the house is older and older houses do what older houses do. I do not think any future visitors will have this issue at all because they discussed with us how they have plans to fix the shower issue and did the best they could to remedy the hot water situation during a Holiday weekend. Other than these items, it was a great weekend, we were thrilled to be in the land of the waterfalls and enjoying our family time together.

Amazing stay
The cabin was exactly as advertised. It was rustic and well appointed. We were met with fresh brownies and a note from the property manager. The home was welcoming and inviting having lamps on for our arrival. It was a bit more remote (tucked up into the woods) than we were expecting and took several times of turning around to find. Once there, we were really excited!!! We thought it was even more special as this cabin has deep family roots. We are very family oriented and appreciate that we were able to make memories there with our children. It rained heavily on and off during our stay but we still enjoyed s’mores around a bon fire. We experienced a wide power outage on our last full day there. We considered packing up and heading home, but the property managers were so responsive to us we decided to see it through. We had already experienced Brevard and Pisgah so we went to Hendersonville to explore the DuPont waterfalls. They knew our profile from the booking and sent recommendations by text of other places they thought our children would enjoy as this outage was lengthy. They were available to us at all times. Great property managed by an amazing company. I’d highly recommend!

Mountain Getaway
Property is as advertised. However only 4 will sleep comfortably. 1 King sized bed for two adults and two twin beds. There is a couch and a blow up mattress and a cot. There is no cable so you are looking for TV options consider casting from a mobile device to the television or prepare to upload your streaming service to the Roku device. Consider alternate route in case of bad weather. The driveway is not kind to your tires this is my only real issue, there has to be an alternative to the jagged rocks. Otherwise a the property is as advertised.

While off of a busy street, this place is very close to many trails. The house is perfect for 4 people or less. Amenities were good and place is clean. Loved the porch and privacy. Owners were very responsive and very nice.

Our family really enjoyed the cabin and surrounding property. We were in the area to visit our children's sleepaway camp that is also located on Cedar Mountain so the location was perfect for us. We also enjoyed mountain biking and hiking in DuPont.

Tranquil family hideaway
The place was lovely, very clean and comfy. Good kitchen, and the log cabin vibe was fun. I spent most of a day sitting on the porch, looking at the trees and reading. There is a ton of stuff to do nearby too. I'd stay again. The only thing to be aware of is that when it says it sleeps 6, it's really best if there are only 4 of you, or you don't want to eat meals together. There are four dinner plates, four dining chairs, etc. (There are two high stools, but if there are 5 of you, you can't all sit around the table.)

We stayed in this cabin so we would be isolated from crowds yet close to the waterfalls in the area. This cabin was just what we wanted! It was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had every thing we needed. Enjoyed the porch and cooked on the grill one night. We would have liked to use the indoor fireplace, but was told it didn’t work And that it wasn’t “listed as an amenity“. We used the heat instead which isn’t quite the same:( Could use some extra bath towels. There were 4 of us, So we went through them quickly and I had to do laundry sooner that I would have liked. The kitchen was well equipped, but could use new skillets and cooking utensils. There were quite a few bugs (which we are used to in FL) BUT there were some wasps or yellow jackets? (Not sure which), that had gotten in the master bedroom. Those were not ok. Cedar mountain doesn’t have cell service, but the cabin has wi-fi which was nice. The TV only has 4 channels. We had a lot of rain one day/night and it would have been nice to watch a GOOD movie, instead of having to choose the least bad one. Maybe cable wouldn’t be so bad... Just want to present the good and bad so people can decide. Overall, nice cabin with all the “essentials”. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for Family who want some R & R :)
