The flat is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous old town of Celle with its castle, Stechbahn, city church, old town hall, etc. Just as close is the Celle Castle Theatre with its main stage in the historic castle.
Many nice and recommendable pubs, cafés and bars invite you to stay.
Particularly recommended are: the Strandhaus Cellem, only 150 m away, with a direct view of the Aller and Allerinsel, the Esszimmer, the Taverna & Trattoria Palio in the Fürstenhof, the allerKrug in Altencelle, the museum café of the chocolatier Rolf Baxmann, and in the monastery community of Wienhausen, only 10 km away, the Mühlengrund with Germany's smallest brewery and the Oppershausen estate.
There is also a bathing beach just a few metres from the flat: fine sandy beach directly on the Aller, in the middle of Celle, with a beach club in summer.
When the weather is bad, the Celle Badeland with its saltwater pool, slides, saunas and massages is a worthwhile destination for anyone in need of relaxation.
From November to the end of December, the well-known Celle Christmas market in the historic old town invites you to enjoy a visit.
