Penrhyn Cottage is a wonderful little cottage in a fabulous location right on the coastal path. It is an easy stroll to several beaches and the village for shops, pubs, cafes and a lovely ice cream shop. It is very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need.
We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent retreat for walking break
Fabulous base for the coastal walk about Anglesey. Attractive village with all the basics with massive beach. Access to first class hiking from the doorstep or a short easy drive to other starting points. Good accommodation for the two of us with parking and easy access to Camaes.
Penrhyn was clean, cosy and welcoming. It's very close to beaches and coastal walks (minutes away by foot) Kitchen

Quality cottage in a great location
A lovely cottage with everything you could want. Very comfortable and clean and a great location at the edge of the village, short walk to shops and pubs, but straight on to the coast path the other way. What more could you want?

Everything you could possibly need
Great location and perfect with split level living as gave teenage son his own space too. Cottage had everything we could possibly need and more. Very comfortable and clean with nice quality crockery and accessories. The service from Coastal Cottages was excellent with lots of additional information on the area provided too.
The cottage is in a beautiful location with easy access to lots of coastal walks, beaches and coves all within a few minutes walk. Very peaceful but close to the high street if needed. We didn’t need to use our car all week. The cottage itself could do with a deep clean and this is what would stop me returning.

Peace and oh the views!
On arriving in Cemaes Bay we were struck by the peace and breathtaking views of the bay. Penrhyn Cottage did certainly not disappoint and my husband and I just smiled at each other on driving up to the property. It promised to be dog friendly and it certainly was - Molly had her own bowls, blankets, treats and balls!
The view of the sea from the upstairs lounge was the icing on the cake and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already talked about returning again.
If there was any criticism at all is that one more saucepan (only one as part of a steamer) would make cooking easier and there was a lot of cobwebs and spiders so the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough but it's a big job to clean a house from top to bottom every changeover and didn't take long to hoover them up myself.
Thank you for a really enjoyable stay - and also the whole booking process was superb so 10/10 to the customer service team!
Lovely location.. lovely cottage has everything you need. Close to the beach. Great fish and chips shop in the village

Cosy cottage
Great cottage in a great location. It has everything you need and more. Love Cemaes bay and will return as soon as time allows. Would stay here again. Only criticism the sofa n chairs not very comfortable.
I originally was going on my own but my sister and neice joined me. The cottage was perfect it was ideally suited for dog walking and paddle boarding and exploring Anglesey. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again, I would feel very comfortable staying there on my own. It is very well equipped and very cosy and beautifully furnished.
This cottage was the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in, literally thought of everything! Was a very quiet place with beautiful walks from the doorstep. Lovely garden. Could not have asked for more and we will definitely be back, did not want to leave!
Very nice property, with all utencils and eqipment necessary. Well situated to all local amenaties. Could possibly do with a deeper clean, many visible cobwebs and dead flies in windows that were there on day one.

An enjoyable and comfortable stay
We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The cottage is well and thoughtfully equipped and in a good location.. There is a pleasant view of the sea from the sitting room which is located upstairs. The downstairs is very compact and a little dark but we were staying in the autumn I'm sure during the summer months with the doors open it would be lighter and feel airy.. We would book Penrhyn again.

Lovely little cottage
Lovely cottage, clean and fully equipped.
Our only complaint was the televisions as both had very limited programmes. Both tv's constantly froze or kept breaking up! Upstairs tv was unwatchable. Nights drawing in, tv was required, just basic freeveiw and Welsh channels!!
Contacted owner, was offered one night to go next door to watch football ....we didn't bother!!

cottage with sea views
very comfortable lounge suite and a bed which we highly rated for comfort.
we were surprised by the nice goodies a variety too many to mention.
The location is great with views of the sea and a few yards to the coastal path and yet convenient for the village.
I would recommend Penrhyn cottage for a small family during the long holiday season and excellent for a dog.

Holiday at Penrhyn Cottage, Cemaes Bay
This is a lovely cottage with all you could want to make your stay perfect. It is in a great location right near the coastal path. There is a sea view from upstairs. Unfortunately we didn't see any wildlife in the sea during our stay but plenty of bird life around. The walk down to the village and beaches is very short, just a slight hill back to the cottage. We don't have a dog but it is a perfect place for anyone who does... the owner has catered well for the furry friends. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival and even an honesty bar should you not be inclined to venture out to the shop/pub. All in all a great place for a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful little cottage
Beautiful little cottage in a great location right on the Coastal Path so perfect for walkers. Close to the beach and only 5 mins walk to the High street where there is a fabulous butchers, a chip shop and a convenience store. The chip shop is highly recommended.
The cottage has off street parking right outside, free WiFi, TV upstairs and downstairs, washer and dryer and an outside line. All the equipment you need in the kitchen. A lovely little seating area outside. The host left us some wine, milk and snacks which is a nice touch. There is also an honesty bar which is handy if you wanted some wine but didn't want to walk to the shop. Lovely sea view from the upstairs lounge. Can't fault it which is why this was our third visit.

Peaceful Penrhyn Cottage
A beautiful cottage which is deceptively spacious, in a idyllic and very peaceful area. The cottage was very well equipped and clearly well looked after. Plenty of room for our family of four and two dogs. Dog friendly with a fairly secure garden (low front wall but does have a small completely secure fenced area too) and spare leads, bowls, etc.
Cemaes Bay is a very quiet area with a beautiful sheltered beach, perfect for paddling, paddle boarding etc. Has everything we needed with a couple of shops, takeaway, chippy etc. The cottage is two minutes walk from the beach and coastal path, with a lovely sea view. Everything you need for a real get away from it all break, would highly recommend.

A week at Penrhyn Cottage
What a fantastic little cottage, perfect location right next to the coastal path and just a few minutes walk to the 2 beaches. The cottage has everything you need and more and the welcome Prosecco, cakes, chocolates, butter and dog treats were such a lovely treat. Would highly recommend.
