"This property is advertised as an “oasis” and kid friendly with a gaming garage room and a large fenced in back yard. So, I brought my daughter and my two toddler grandsons with me for 8 days. The home is poorly cared for from the outside in. The yard is mostly sand and what I assumed to be gopher holes. The door lock worked well and the check in process was easy. Communication with the host was very prompt and comfortable. The home was cooled and somewhat quiet at night. Once inside, however, the lack of cleanliness of the tile floors caused the kids’ feet to turn black within the 1st hour. All the tables are glass (not secured to the table base so the glass will fall off if pushed). This home is filthy and in poor condition aesthetically. The host was shown several pictures of the dirty floors and mildew in the bathrooms as well as broken dart tips lying on the garage floor and beer bottle tops and empty soda cans in the window sill. The guest bath is just nasty. Multiple issues were advised to the host, too many to list here. I was asked to be available for a washing machine delivery in the middle of the week, which we accommodated. I found the request to be inconsiderate. The host reimbursed my credit card for the cleaning fee and an extra 30 for waiting for the washer to be delivered. I was extremely disappointed in this home after the hype of the advertisement. It is definitely not a relaxing oasis. "

"Excellent stay at Hideaway Haven. Rental was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well stocked. Liked being in a nice, quiet, residential neighborhood but also close to everything. Enjoyed sitting out on the lanai under the trees on a nice warm evening. Had a little trouble with the WiFi that Suzy took care of very quickly. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area. "

"Excellent stay in Lake Mary.The property was very quiet,and comfortable. The host was very attentive,polite,and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The location was perfect-within walking distant to a store and conveniently located to Daytona and Orlando. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend. "

"property location is great. The pond is very nice and kayak/canoe was very good. House living is open and spacious. If you are a cook, bring your own knives. Beds were large and comfortable. Parks just down the road and Publix less than a mile away. The area is quaint old time Florida. I would have given a five, but the third party management thing is a pain. They wouldn't issue the door code until two hours before. We were at the house, but no wifi and phone signal too low to load the third party information. I ended up having to use my phone as a hot spot (very sad one) and log onto VRBO with my laptop and then her email and then the app. I will avoid this in the future. Communication was fine if you could have it. No phone number was provided, just a twirling AI chat that went in circles. But the place is great."

"We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great experience. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for our group.The location was perfect. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to do, but the area itself wasn’t overly congested, which made it really relaxing to come back to at the end of the day.The owners were wonderful and very accommodating with anything we needed during our stay. Communication was easy and they made everything simple from check-in to check-out.We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Casselberry area. "
