"The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!"

"We stayed in the cabins, the bed was SO COMFORTABLE. It was cool enough that evening so we had the windows open & it reminded me of my family’s cabin when I was younger. It was super quiet & relaxing. The bathrooms were nice & clean. The only thing is to double check to make sure the door is locked/latched because another guest walked in while I was showering…. Thank goodness for the shower curtain! I thought I had the door latched & he said it had happened to him more than once during his stay. The inside pool was heavily chlorinated so we only let our son swim for a little bit. We got there too late to use the outdoor pools & we were only there for a night since we had an early tournament the next morning & we’re staying at a different hotel with our team. But we definitely want to go back & stay here next year"
