"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. I found this by chance when we needed to stop for a couple of nights. This was by far my favourite stop along the way. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for recharging. The cupboards were full of useful items (such as plates, cutlery, kettle, toaster, cups, pots and pans etc.). Shower was lovely. "We enjoyed our stay overall. The place was clean and quiet at night, the swimming pools were good. The accom was clean and facilities provided were good (incl cleaning kit). Good car parking available and a pleasant stroll to the Port through the golf course and lake.
However, there are several important areas requiring improvement:
- Air conditioning does not exist. We had to leave the door and windows fully open at night which is unfair. While air con may be expensive to install, P&V should...

"This is a very nice hotel.
The rooms are tasteful and well laid out.
The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
We only had breakfast one day but it is very good. Hot and cold options allow you to have anything from a pastries and jams to fruit, yoghurt, to cheeses, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages.
The rooftop terrace has great views of the port, but it can get windy.
The pool is gorgeous but small and there are only six sun loungers, which can get competitive.
It is well situated, just a short walk from the main parts of town and most of the good restaurants.
If we visit Les Sables-d'Olonne again, we will definitely stay at Hotel Vertime again."
"This was a comfortable 3 night stay in a private room with a double bed and en-suite bathroom conveniently located in the heart of the port area in Les Sables d’Olonne. Really enjoyed it! "
"It‘s a 2 star residence, a little worn off and in need of redecoration, but clean.
The staff are very helpful and friendly especially if you make an effort to speak French.
The location is perfect for the 2 minute ferry (navette bus) that will take you across the channell to the beach (it will save you a 30 minute walk).
There us a very big supermarket across the road with amazing fresh produce especially fish and seafood. Some restaurants nearby too (table reservation a must).
We were there for a sport event that started very early so the residence was perfect for us. The swimming pool was a bonus in 35c temperatures"
