"I booked this hotel primarily in the excellent ratings which I cannot understand based on my experience. The hotel is well located within the Colonial Zone however there were several detractors. First and foremost, the rooms don’t have any air-conditioning which is a major flaw in a city as hot as Santo Domingo. My room (104) was in the ground floor and was very dark with no sun coming through the windows. The breakfast was mediocre at best with very limited selection and the scrambled eggs were cold. The rooftop poll is small and the loungers are uncomfortable. Not a great experience in my opinion."

"The rooftop pool, bar and lounge areas were amazing and fun with good music and good vibes. The gym was perfect for vacation and the apartment was wonderful and spacious. This is my second time and i will be back many many times. It's a great place to stay"
