The main living area has high wooden ceilings and large windows which look out over the alpine landscape. It is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, a dining table and a flat-screen TV. The glass door opens onto a private balcony where guests can relax and take in their stunning surroundings. Back inside, the modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, nespresso coffee maker and fridge/freezer.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom has a double bed and a walk-in wardrobe. A glass door opens onto the balcony.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has a bunk bed and a pull-out single bed that converts into a double bed with the lower bunk. There is also a laptop-friendly work space
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
The hamlet of San Sicario is a charming ski resort which is well organised and offers slopes to suit all levels of skiers. There are ski and snowboarding schools in the village and a range of cafés and restaurants. The apartment is in the heart of this quiet resort and ideally positioned for easy access to the slopes.

Sestriere (20 minutes), which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has a lot to offer throughout the year. In the winter months, there is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. There is even an outdoor heated swimming pool which is open in the winter and summer seasons.

Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings.

Turin airport is a 1-hour and 25-minute drive from the apartment.
