Everything in the room we liked and service was excellent. It had plenty toilet paper and an air freshener in the restroom area. However one thing we noticed from the different hotels we stayed in Europe is that this one specifically doesn’t have a mini fridge, maybe due to short stays. Because we visited during winter season we stored our sandwich and drinks outside the fist window, this worked! Highly recommended lodging

Large clean and well-appointed two- bedroom apartment over a shop and bar, right across from Schiele Centre but also very quite. Very friendly hostess who kept in regular email contact. Disappointments were the shower and water pressure were very low and the parking situation - an extra fee to leave our bikes in a not-very-secure-looking urban wasteland just outside the old city.

Excellent room and location. Recommended highly.
We loved this place. It was right in the center of the old town and easy to reach. The desk/shop staff was incredibly nice and informative. The room was spacious and just felt homely. We were a few minutes walk to the castle, rafting companies, town square, and numerous eateries and shops. The staff even called a taxi for us to take us to the train station ($200czk) so we wouldn't have to walk uphill. We would definitely staff here again and recommend this hotel. It had double windows which kept out all sound. Wish there was a table or ceiling fan to circulate the air, but it was comfortable during our visit.

A great one night trip away from Prague. Hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from their main bus stop. Stroll through the gardens where we saw some of thrr most beautiful trees. Just a quaint spotless town.

Pension Galko is located right in the heart of old town and everything is walkable from here. Note that cars are restricted during the day within the old center. If you’re arriving by car, research that. Cute, simple hotel with great checkin/out and helpful staff. Recommended.

Good hotel, close to the town center, quite and comfy, hotel reception was pretty and sweet and helpful. Huge size bedroom and the pantry was outside at the common area where you can do your own microwave or water boiling.

Expectations Completely Exceeded
My goodness, this wonderful room was perhaps our favorite of our entire vacation. We stayed in other places on our trip that were much more expensive and considered 4+ star resorts and yet this lovely hotel wins out! The low price tag made us nervous and so we set our expectations low. We could not have been more wrong. The location is unbeatable, in the center of town. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating and then the room! It was superbly clean, brightly lit, large, and simply furnished but with everything you needed. Although the street can get noisy at night, our room had double panned windows. Once they were closed even a live performance going on a few doors down (on the street) was completely silenced. I would only recommend to future travelers to consider the weather forecast before you book as there is no A/C but other than that this place was truly a wonderful gem in a beautiful city. Stay here!

spacious room with well equipped kitchen. bathroom is clean. walking to the town center for 2 mins. you need to carry your luggage by stairs. reception is nice with detailed introduction of the town. the only bad thing for me is the pillow is too soft. overall it is great.

Excellent location, right in the centre of Cesky Krumlov. Very easy and friendly check-in procedures. My apartment was very spacious and quiet, excellent value for money. Very good internet connection. Only downside was that services were quite limited (I guess I should not complain at all, considering the price) - for example I was there by myself, I had a double bed but only one pillow. Also, there is a well-equipped kitchen but if you are planning on cooking you need to bring with you the essentials also (oil, salt etc) as there are none in the house.

Excellent location in a beautiful place
Pension Galko lived up to its great reviews. From the simple check in process in the shop below the rooms to the spacious and immaculately clean apartment everything was just as we could have hoped for. The pension is located in the centre of this beautiful town, with guest parking a couple of hundred meters away. We didn't spend too much time in our rooms as we wanted to be wandering the enchanting streets soaking up the atmosphere of this very special place, but can't recommend it enough.
