"From our arrival the team at front desk are the best we have come across, thanks guys! So friendly, helpful as can be (unlike some others in Europe sorry to say). The property is superb, have no doubts. The Dependence suite is awesome, so big and 2 bathrooms located just across the street from the main hotel adjacent to one of the Towers on the wall! Free bikes for riding around the walls were easy & fun. Breakfast good, though maybe a slightly bigger selection of cooked items would be appreciated? Thank you!"

"Met by Sonia in reception who was just so very helpful. Hotel provided us with bikes to explore the town. Such fun. Then Ricardo helped us get tickets to the Puccini concert in the San Giovanni. We loved Lucca and it was in no small part owing to the lovely people we met in the hotel and in the city. "

"Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "
