Wir waren 14 Tage in dieser sehr zurückgelegenen und ruhigen Unterkunft. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe waren wunderbar. Das Haus war sehr geräumig und hatte genügend Platz für 5 Personen mit Hund. Es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigte.Auf ein Auto ist man definitiv angewiesen um einzukaufen, es ist trotz allem jedoch innerhalb von 15 Minuten alles gut erreichbar. Lucca, Pisa, Florenz und Siena sind sehr empfehlenswert, tolle Städte, wobei Pisa für den schiefen Turm völlig ausreicht. Das Meer war ca 45 Minuten entfernt.Insgesamt haben wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Toskana verbracht und sehr viel sehen und genießen können. Frau Della Bimba war bei Problemen(Stromausfall) oder Fragen immer erreichbar und die Kommunikation war sehr nett. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und konnte uns noch viele Ausflugstips etc geben. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. Wer es abgelegen mag und auf modernen Luxus verzichten kann hat hier ein tolles Reiseziel gefunden. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen!

Au milieu des oliviers

Point central pour visiter Lucca, Pise, Florence, les 5 Terres.... Endroit paisible et loin des nuisances de la ville, avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée de Lucca. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour. Non il n'y a pas de wifi, ni de micro-ondes mais ce n'est en rien difficile à surmonter ! Nous recommandons le séjour et la communication est parfaite avec la propriétaire.

Dans l’ensemble, nous n’avons pas apprécié le logement pour différentes raisons. Tout d’abord, un accès compliqué ( route principale barrée) qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter de soirées à Lucca. Ensuite le manque de confort moderne de la maison a été pesant: cuisine sous équipée, cafetières inutilisables, vaisselle à la propreté douteuse, peu de reseau pour les téléphones, encore moins pour internet et télé qui ne fonctionnait pas. Le linge de maison meriterait d’etre changé, il etait propre mais datait serieusement!

un tout grand merci à Madame Della Bimba pour son accueil et ses conseils. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique région. Pour tout qui désire (re)découvrir le centre et le nord de la Toscane, la situation est idéale : 1.5h de Florence, 2h de Sienne, San Giminiano, Voltera, 1H de Pise. Beaucoup de possibilité de randonnées dans les environs proches également. Bref, que du bonheur.

Nice house in lovely location

A pleasant simple apartment, actually the uphill half of an old farmhouse, in quiet but not remote hills - not far from a main east-west road in the valley, or from wonderful Lucca and several pleasant sandy and safe beaches (these less than hour by car). Some of the more wooded and mountainous countryside to the nearby interior is lovely and peaceful, at times even dramatic. Unfortunately the house doesn't really face down towards the valley, but one can enjoy the view in that direction to a limited degree from the garden terrace, also a little from one of the bedrooms and the kitchen. Not really facing the view to the East and South, and partially shaded by the olives trees and hillside to the West, does have the advantage of keeping the apartment cooler than would perhaps otherwise be the case. Most of the furniture is oldish and well-used, but all is adequate. The bed I used was nice and comfortable, happily more firm than soft. Bedding and towels, including kitchen cloths, are plentiful. The household equipment is extensive and includes most everything one needs, although for a large group, the pasta cooking-pot may be a little small, while the electric grill is small and not very strong, and a couple of sharp chopping knives and maybe kitchen scales would be useful. There are no bowls for breakfast cereal or small portions of soup, but some very large mugs can serve for these purposes. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I found there were a couple of Italian TV channels more or less constantly showing english-language films in the evening (although usually trashy american ones), and also in english, episodes of a US soap-opera series and of The Big Bang Theory. I did not use the toilet or shower in the cellar, but I noted the shower did not function during my stay - maybe the showerhead clogged with lime. I found some of the cutlery, and also the milk pans, left not very clean by previous tenants, but otherwise the apartment was very clean. I was only troubled twice in the night (during a week's stay) by a single mosquito, but the mosquito nets are in need of repair (apparently planned for this coming winter). The hostess is very friendly, chatty and helpful, and extremely informative about all one needs to know concerning the apartment and the area. Indeed she is a nice person altogether.

Superbe séjour

Nous sommes partis, le vendredi 22 juillet, avec deux amis de Brest en avion pour un atterrissage à Nice à15h15, puis une location de voiture pour rejoindre, à 4 h de route, la ferme sur les collines de Lucca de Simona, une agréable personne qui parle un excellent français. Certes le lave vaisselle, le micro onde sont absents, indispensables pour certains mais pas pour nous, son gite, avec de remarquables charpentes, peut accueillir 6 personnes avec 2 terrasses avec une à l’abri du soleil le matin collée à la maison, et une autre pour le repas du soir sous les oliviers. Bref pour 560 € par personne tout compris, nous avons pu visiter les cinq terres, Luques, le village du créateur de Pinocchio, Pise, une partie de Florence, Sienne et pour terminer une baignade à la Marina de Pise suivi d'un repas sur la place de l'Amphithéâtre de Luques. Donc n’hésitez pas.

Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans la maison de Simona. Elle est fonctionnelle, offre tout le confort requis pour passer de bonnes vacances. Située dans la montagne, nous avons pu profité d'une vue splendide grâce au panorama et également d'un accès à la mer par Lucca. Nous remercions sincèrement Simona pour sa grande disponibilité, ses conseils, son français parfait, et sa gentillesse touchante. Idyllisch in den Bergen gelegenenes altes Häusschen, in dem alles vorhanden ist, was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und nett, außerdem kann man sich gut auf englisch mit ihr unterhalten, wenn einem die Italienisch-Kenntnisse fehlen. Unsere Kinder und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder hier unseren Urlaub verbringen!

Wie bei Freunden zu Besuch

In ruhiger, dörflicher Lage mit schönem Blick auf das Tal haben wir uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das es eine Haushälfte war hat man fast nicht gemerkt. Alles war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung umfasst alles was man in einem Haushalt braucht. Grill, Gartenmöbel, Fernseher mit vielen Satelitenkanälen (auch einige Deutsche), DVD-Player und Wäsche (Bettzeug, Handtücher) sind vorhanden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich, freundlich und äußerst bemüht um einen gelungenen Aufenthalt. Wir können die anderen Bewertungen vollauf bestätigen und die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

Birdsong and Churchbell

Simona was a wonderful hostess and her house was lovely and well equipped. If you don't speak Italian remember to bring some DVDs to watch when you are relaxing inside as there is limited English programming on the television . There was plenty of bedding and linens for the cold nights and a fireplace and space heater to warm the house up. The patio above the house catches the morning sun nicely and would be lovely for evening meals when it is warmer. The house is set in a peaceful hamlet, the quietness only punctuated by the church bell and birdsong. There is a very good budget restaurant a few minutes away in the town square in Ponte a Moriano which Simona pointed us to. It is always nice to have local input on food otherwise you are flying blind and taking your chances. Make sure you look at the book about the valley up to Barga as we found that a tour through it made a really nice day. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for peace (and has a car!)

Ruhige rustikale Unterkunft

Perfektes Feriendomizil um die Toskana zu erkunden. Nahe Lucca, nahe den schönen Sandstränden. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist groß und ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden unseren nächsten Toskana-Urlaub wieder hier verbringen. Einziger Nachteil: bei sehr kalten Temperaturen (unter 10 Grad) ist die Heizung unzureichend (daher nur 4 Sterne). Im Sommer sicher sehr angenehm.

Gemütlich, gepflegt, sehr liebe Vermieterin, jenseits des Tourismustrubels, in den Bergen, ruhig

Das alte, gemütliche Bauernhaus verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt fünf Schlafplätzen, einer Küche, einem Wohnzimmer und einem Bad, zwei Toiletten, einem Keller, der in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird, in dem man aber einen gemütlichen Abend verbringen kann. Im Außenbereich ist ein kleiner Garten mit zwei Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr lieb und ihr wichtigstes Anliegen ist, dass sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen. Vorhanden sind Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Geschirrtücher, Klopapier, Spülmittel, ansonsten normale Ausstattung. Es gibt Internetverbindung, etc. Der 350 Jahre alte Bauernhof liegt in den Bergen und die Kurven und Straßen sind oft eng und teilweise steil und eher mit einem kleineren Auto besser befahrbar, also besser kein Wohnmobil, obwohl ich eines oben gesehen habe, es geht also irgendwie. Sie sind aber nicht so gefährlich, dass man ständig das Gefühl hat, in den Abgrund zu rutschen, wie ich es in einem anderen Urlaub erlebt habe. Zum Meer sind es ca. 40 km, wobei man bei den Straßenverhältnissen und den vielen Kurven eine Fahrzeit von ca. einer Stunde oder mehr einberechnen muss. Da der Bauernhof idyllisch in den Bergen liegt, hat man eine herrliche Aussicht über das Tal und weit in das Land hinein. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und auch das Gefühl nicht direkt im Tourismustrubel zu sitzen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!
