"We have family in Puntarenas and always stay here when rools are available. The pool is fun to bring all of the family kids to during our stay and the staff at the front desk are so sweet. Property is right in the heart of the Paseo de Touristas with great breezes in the restaurant and easy access to bus lines and ferries. Best value on the Paseo, and trust me, I have stayed at them all."

We particularly enjoyed the evenings watching spectacular thunderstorms flashing in distant skies over other valleys while there was not a drop of rain where we were. "We had a lovely stay in Chacarita. The backyard is beautiful and the private beach access was so fun. We loved the pool and spent much of our time outside watching the lizards and squirrels. The shower doesn't have hot water, but it was refreshing from the heat. Especially since we had a couple of minor issues with the air conditioning not fully working. Mario was a wonderful caretaker and made many aspects of our trip much easier. Maria was a responsive and generous host, allowing us some flexibility in checking out."
