Although the hotel is on a rather busy street did not hear any traffic from the room (facing the road). The historic center of town is just across the street and very easy to reach and enjoy. "This Hotel went FAR beyond expectations- The sauna /spa is extraordinary- a real treat. If you’re driving into the hotel make sure you follow the entrance instructions. The restaurant and bar are “petite” and positively delightful. Can we give a 6th star???? "

"Perfect for an overnight - bed spotlessly clean, staff lovely, location perfect! Great pub restaurant across road - all great! Only negative is bathrooms could do with upgrading but I would absolutely stay again. "
