"An amazing house! So much space on many different levels, so many outdoor terraces with beautiful views of Souda Bay. Beautiful artwork, hundreds of books and countless knickknacks throughout the house. A/C worked perfectly in the heatwave, note that the A/C for the two bedrooms with twin beds was just outside in the hallway so the bedroom doors must be kept open to get air. He is so wonderfully responsive and not only met us late in the evening when we arrived, but also gave us multitude of recommendations, responded to all our questions quickly and went out of his way to do little things such as providing beach towels and even sending a left behind item to us! "The location is really great and the hotel is lovely. The staff are incredible- friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Did not like the smell of the water in the toilet. I imagine it has to do with the water being recycled (grey water) and for such an expensive hotel to not replenish water bottles daily was a surprise. Everything else was fantastic."

"The monetary is such a find. We booked this as a treat at the end of a family holiday. The location is perfect, so central. Just down a cute side street. The accommodation is beautiful - renovated to a high standard. The receptionists were so friendly always making time to talk to us about our day or help with anything. We were upgraded to a penthouse suite on arrival which had a roof terrace and hot tub. The room was modern and clean, v comfortable and we made use of the roof terrace one afternoon, looking over the rooftops with a mythos! Would definitely return - a nice unique place. We didn’t try the restaurant but it looked lovely with lots of options."

"The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff will go above and beyond to help you. There were times where the kids overtook the pool, which without having kids, didn't make for the most relaxing time. Still a great stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious!"
