"Room rink of cigs. But you get what you pay for I guess. I just used it to shower for a concert cause I traveled out of town. Didn’t stay but it smelled like nothing but cigarettes"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was spacious, very clean, and overall absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our family gathering during a wedding weekend, and everyone especially enjoyed the game room — the kids had a great time upstairs.One thing to note is that if you plan to cook for a large group, you may want to bring additional kitchen utensils and extra towels. We love cooking together as a family instead of eating out, but the kitchen was not fully stocked for preparing meals for a larger group, and there were not enough towels to comfortably accommodate all guests.The only major issue we experienced was that the air conditioning upstairs was not working, properly. I contacted the owner and sent a picture to ensure the unit was one (due to previous renters turning it off) and was informed that no one could come out to repair it over the weekend, which was understandable, but it did make the upstairs area — especially the game room and bedrooms — very uncomfortable for the guests staying there. We did have access to fans for those rooms.Overall, we still had a nice stay and appreciated the beauty and space of the home. With a few improvements, this property could easily provide an even better experience for large families and groups. Thank you Terrance for being responsive and we really enjoy staying there and not having major issues during a weekend that was already busy."

Horn Lake Vacation Rental ~ 14 Mi to Memphis!

"All the reviews of this home state how clean the property was for them. We experienced the opposite. Pictures were provided to rental property host. Response was not received until the next day and we were told a 3-4 month renter had just moved out and there wasn't time to properly clean the residence. We were disappointed in moldy shower curtains, dusty vents, a toilet seat that would not stay in place, filthy carpet, a refrigerator that was not wiped out and food stains on pictures. Host did realize that in the future the property should not be rented until a proper cleaning can be done before the next guests arrive.On a good note, the property is in a nice location, food is close, and it was only about 12 minutes to Graceland. The beds were comfortable as others stated (yet we worried about how clean they were based on the rest of the house). The house is well stocked with kitchen needs. We had narrowed our search to two homes, but chose this one based on all the wonderful cleanliness reviews. I want to believe that the host was truthful and we just happened to arrive right after some long time renters. The host offered no sort of compensation, just an apology. It was a very unfortunate situation, but we did not get the clean home we were expecting and all really felt a little dirty when we left. There were many other options of vrbos in the area, so if we return, we will not stay at this home again."
