The hotel is also very close to Tianmen Mountain cablecar station as well as local restaurants and airport/train station as a result of being in the city center. The property itself is well maintained though quite old and main drawbacks is the fact that the property itself is old as well as the fact that people smoke within and outside the premises. This makes for a poorer experience otherwise I will give it 5 stars."

What made this stand out though was the superb Concierge who organised and booked all of our visits to the many attractions of the area. Transport, timings and tickets were all taken care of. It was like having your own travel agency. She was brilliant. Breakfast was fine but the restaurant was excellent and really good value. For a first time visitor to China it was a wonderful location."
