A very large improvement over the last time I stayed there. My son wanted to try it as it is a few dollars cheaper, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I was there to do business and needed internet, my room didn't get good service, I talked to the manager and he offered to hook us up with his own personal internet, but it wasn't strong enough so he moved us to a room that was closer to the router and I finally got the signal I needed. So they went above and beyond to make sure I could do my work while staying there. Very good service, very kind people. Both rooms were very neat and clean. Very quiet also. Will definitely stay again when in that area. My only complaint is it showed a continental breakfast area in pictures, but did not have one.

The unit was dated but very, very clean. Even radiator vents clean. Traffic from highway could be heard. Would stay again when in area

Informed of no breakfast available upon checking in, although advertised. Room smelled of mold upon entering, to the point of my wife having problems breathing. Front window unable to secure locked. Comforter on bed was not clean. Needs a whole bunch of maintenance and updating.

Thank you for your response. The new ownership and management of the Royal Rest takes very seriously the comfort and care of our guests. That is why upon check- in we inform our guests, that if there are any issues to let us know asap. Upon investigation of the advertising of breakfast, there is no mention of breakfast on expedia, which you had booked through. However, we did find a place on google that does and we are addressing it . Upon investigation of the room we did not find mold or any issue with your comforter and we were able to lock the window. However, if given the opportunity, we would have been happy to put you in a different room or refunded you your stay. We wouldn't want you to stay in a room you couldn't breathe in properly. Thank you

Older facility but pleasantly surprised by interior. Newer bed and pillows. Clean room. Would gladly stay again. Everything you need in an inexpensive clean room for a night or two.
