Everything about 86 Cannon was perfect. The staff and owners are amazing. The location is great. The pool is beautiful. The sitting areas are gorgeous. Loved my stay there!

Beautiful property and even more beautiful rooms. Everyone on staff is so nice and attentive. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and wine and cheese in the evening was an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

Best Place to Stay in Charleston

The most amazing stay in Charleston ever. If you truly want to experience staying in a historic Charleston home now is your chance. Prepare to be pampered! Great breakfast from the best chefs in town and the Mimosas were divine too!

Such a gem of a spot! We loved all the special touches that made this seem like a retreat getaway while at the same time being comfortable and like a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were amazing. Wine and cheese was such a nice treat every day. Staff was very knowledgeable about the area; we were never disappointed in their restaurant and tour recommendations. We can’t wait to return!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. It was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. Few things we loved 1) Huge comfy bed and pillows (I have a neck injury and I had no issues sleeping). 2) Gorgeous bathroom with huge shower. 3) Easy 5 min walk to King street. 4) Complimentary breakfast, nepresso machine in the room, wine and cheese pairings and champagne! The only small consideration is that this is an older home so the walls are thin which means you can hear people walking upstairs but it didn't bother us too much. Elliott was lovely and an excellent host. We are already planning our next trip back ♥️

Absolutely historic luxury!

Staying for 4 nights at 86 Cannon in late August made our whole trip to Charleston! It was my birthday weekend and the staff at 86 Cannon went above and beyond to make our stay special. The accommodations are beautiful as well as squeaky clean, breakfast was delicious, we loved the location (walking distance to some of our favorite meals of the trip!) as well as the convenience of on site parking. We liked that they communicated with us via text throughout our stay. Elliott caught us heading to the beach and rushed of to deliver us the cutest tote bag with towels, they've thought of everything! Thank you so much Ashley and Elliott!!

The most perfect lodging experience ever

86 Cannon was simply the best lodging experience we've ever had. From the moment we entered and were greeted by Elliott, to the moment we had to sadly say good-bye, it was the perfect experience. Pristine, spacious, quiet, peaceful, elegant, comfortable, relaxing...I could go on and on. Our only regret is that we only had one night, but this is now our go-to place when we return to Charleston, and we will be coming back. 86 Cannon was a godsend.

Amazing stay in Charleston.

86 Cannon is a high end B&B, very well appointed with beautiful linens, Nespresso coffee makers, robes, slippers etc. The European breakfast in the morning was perfect for starting the day. Wine and cheese at 5:00 hit the spot before we went out to dinner. They have beautiful verandas where we spent time chatting with other guests or just relaxing on our own. Marion, the owner, was always available to answer questions or provide suggestions for restaurants.

There are not enough positive adjectives for this place. Every single thing about our stay was wonderful and the little touches made it so much better than the average stay, on top of such a gorgeous property! We are so happy we spent the majority of our honeymoon there!

Excellent & Charming!

This was an excellent place to stay for a couple wanting to relax. It’s close enough to downtown to experience everything Charleston has to offer, yet far enough away to not have to be in the thick of things at all times. The complimentary bikes were a huge plus for exploring the city easily. Will definitely return!

86 Cannon is an amazing luxury hotel nestled right in Charleston. We were created by the very friendly staff and given an over view of the property and nearby attractions. We then went to our gorgeous room which was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is very walkable, clean, and cozy. We will definitely be staying here again.

I was disappointed. Based on other reviews I had expected more. Just little things like no coffee/cream replenishment. Breakfast was very weak. No hotel info in rooms (history, facility,etc). Innkeeper was very nice and accommodating though.
