We had a wonderful stay at the Barksdale! The staff was so nice and we really enjoyed the breakfast and snacks. The only downside was how damp the property felt. The dampness made the room smell.

Very good location, close to College of Charleston, King shopping street, city market and many restaurants. Walkable distance to many attractions. Charming with Amazing location

Such a charming place to stay in the historic Charleston district. So close to the tour locations and water for the sunset cruise. Amazing friendly staff and the breakfast was AMAZING! Such a wonderful place. No elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up the stairways.

We loved staying here! Very unique room and the breakfast was wonderful! They had great attention to detail, with snacks and even having iced coffee available along with coffee, tea, and water. The staff was also super friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
