Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

This property was great for our long weekend stay! Within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on king street, and the best bagels and coffees downstairs! The apartment was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities. Highly recommend!
The apartment on the second floor is a perfect location to downtown. It is easily accessible and has parking across the street. We loved the bagel shop next door and walked to so many places that week. We would definitely stay there again.

We arrived in town just before the first snowstorm in the last several years. The apartment was in a great location in the historic district and we enjoyed our 3 day stay. It was very comfortable, except for the bed in the inside bedroom.

Nicely done small apartment right downtown. Lovely bagel shop downstairs. Very popular and opens at 7am. Historic building that has newer furnishings. Perfect for a short stay.
The property is clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. Furniture and beds were comfortable. It is within walking distance to everything. Traffic noise is a bit excessive when you are not used to it.
My daughter and i had a wonderful time at this little gem. Pictures were exact as in person. We felt really safe in the neighborhood when walking around. The apartment was very clean and we have nothing bad to say. The communication with owner was always very quick. Would recommend this spot for another stay in Charleston.
EZ check in. Parking across street super convenient and parking pass provided. Awesome bagel/coffee shop below. Short walking distance to King St. we walked everywhere. AC works well and fans are available. Did not cook but kitchen is well equipped with dishes, coffee maker paper towels etc. Would stay here again.
The property was exactly what we needed. Great location where everything was either a short walk or drive away. Our bagel loving kids were excited to hear that we would be staying above a bagel shop. Not bothered by the street noise at all as that is to be expected when you’re staying in the city. Check-in and check-out went seamlessly. Not only would we stay there again, but we’ll be telling all our friends and family as well.
The location was convenient to downtown. The stairs to upper level were difficult with luggage. There was early morning noise from coffee shop below and street noise. However, it was comfortable and well stocked. Very easy checkout.
The apartment is clean and handy to nearby restaurants and a free shuttle stop. The only irritation is that the bagel shop downstairs doesn't have a working closer on its front door, so the door bangs from 7am on when it's open and echoes through the apartment. The bagels and coffee however are delicious! Please get them to fix their door!
The property had easy access to everything within 10-20 minutes depending where you wanted to go. A lot of great restaurants all within walking distance. Communication with the owners was great. We didn’t have sheets for the pullout couch and they had someone drop them off immediately for us. Full kitchen and all towels. Only downfall was We did have to buy TP as only 2 rolls were there and you can hear everything outside. There isn’t a noise barrier to the sheet since it’s an older building so as long as you don’t mind it’s great. Holy bagel is right below and had some great options for food

I must mention that it is noisy from 6am until 1 from a very busy bagel shop below the unit...this is the only downfall.
Cutely decorated, great location, and very clean. Everything was ideal for our trip. I had read comments that it was loud, but you're in the city, so know what you're getting into. It's also like 2 blocks off King Street and very convenient. We walked to Jeni's ice cream every evening after dinner! You can't use the parking spot on Sunday since it's a church lot, which was unexpected. I would also tell the property managers to get the correct coffee filters for the coffee machine...there were always grounds in my coffee until I finally decided to use a paper towel. All in all a great trip, thank you.
Great location close to King Street, very clean and well maintained property. Bagel bakery and coffee shop is downstairs. While it was nice to grab fresh bagels in the morning, we did not get much rest because of it. We were woken at 4am each morning from constant door slamming. Bakery workers were going in and out of the freezer every few minutes slamming doors each time. The freezer is extended into the courtyard which is below the bedroom. Then at 7 am customers started to come in and the front door slamed each time. Wish we knew that before we booked this place.
This was a perfect way to start and end each day in Charleston. Location—directly above an incredible bagel shop with great coffee! Yes, the bagel shop’s door is noisy, and in fact all the noises Charleston has to offer are easily heard from inside the apartment—historic buildings can be like that. The noise wasn’t a problem for us because we use noise makers to sleep anyway. They are provided for you by the condo as well! The beds were comfy enough, not the greatest, but definitely not the worst. Clean linens, towels, and kitchen tools. It’s a nice little apartment with two layers of security…a street side keypad lock, and an upstairs keypad lock. We felt very secure.
If I was going to visit Charleston again, I’d make this my home base again and again. Perfect dedicated parking spot across the street in the church parking lot.

Pullout couch mattress is a twin and very uncomfortable. They brought an air mattress. The VRBO listing has it as 2 double beds but in the write up on the bottom it said 2 twin beds which it was
The noise level with the bagel store sucks. Starting at approx 5am you hear door banging loud music and the heat from kitchen really heats up back bedroom
The toilet in the bathroom is very low like a kindergarten toilet
The rooms are very tiny
It’s on a busy street so honking and road noise happens often
Closet door in bedroom doesn’t easily stay closed
