The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

Excellent Location in Beautifully Restored House

Beautiful property with excellent location

My husband & I stayed in the Cosy Downtown carriage house for the July 4th week. The property is spacious and well appointed. We loved the downstairs living space combined with the upstairs large bedroom and bath. The location is ideal not only for walking to restaurants and shops in historic Charleston, but it’s close location to highways made for a very quick commute to Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palm. Off street parking was also a bonus. Highly recommend!

Amazing honeymoon experience!

This location is so amazing! It’s within walking distance to so many things including a mini bar, bookstore, coffee shop, Chubby Fish, Vern’s, pizza joint and candle shop! None of them took more than 5 minutes to walk to!

Fantastic location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance or a quick Uber/pedicab if you don’t feel like to walk. The walls are thin and you can hear street noise, but the supplemental ac upstairs was great for white noise. Would absolutely stay here again!

Charleston Getaway

Elliotborough is an amazing neighborhood among residents, historical homes, bars and small restaurants. We walked/used car services to visit the historical areas of downtown Charleston. Fabulous accommodations. Plan to revisit in the Fall.
