This private downstairs unit can also be booked alongside the upstairs 1BR suite as well as the detached back house, 4BR home.

A rare find with parking on site, your 1BR suite is nestled in the most charming part of town - 1 block to King Street's restaurants!

The Space:

Guests will have access to a private parking space, the entirety of the rental, and the balcony!

The Neighborhood:
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great Place, Great Location

We had a wonderful stay! The place was great — clean, comfortable, and centrally located, making it easy to get around. The team was lovely and let us drop our things off early, which was so helpful. All the instructions and details were very thorough, and everything was easy to use. Would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect. It was close to Hwy 17 to drive to surrounding sites, and walkable to the historic sites in town. I originally thought we would be able to park both our cars there, but even though it seemed like there was room, we were instructed to park one car in a local garage.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was close to many places. We were able to walk everywhere. Having our own parking spot was a plus. The unit was clean and had everything we needed.

Property was convenient to downtown. Lots of traffic and street noise, but the unit itself was clean and comfortable. Communication with manager was superb. Every question was answered quickly.

Good stay

Comfortable beds, nice space. Only thing that could make it better would be if there were a couple small throw blankets. We were there on a couple of unseasonable cold days and having a cheap old throw would have made it less cold in the apt. Also, it is a busy street with some good foot traffic. So, I would recommended bringing some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. . Location is great and I would stay again, The street noise really wasn’t a problem, but it is noticeable at certain times of day.

Girlfriends Weekend

The little property with a big heart

This old single house is modest, but the owners have really done a nice job making it comfortable stay. The highlights are the lovely beds in linens. The seating area is very cozy, if small. There is a full kitchen though if you're going to be cooking don't expect it to be stocked with all the essentials the hot water isn't ample but sufficient.

Clean and comfortable!! Just steps from everything! We stayed here with our daughter while moving her from one house to another….. after long hot days moving, it was a perfect spot to rest before another hot Charleston day! Thank you!

Great location.

The location was close to many good restaurants and shops. The property manager did a great job of keeping in touch and check in was very easy. The street noise on both Friday and Saturday was pretty loud. The rugs in the living area were pretty worn and should have been replaced by now. All in all, we had a nice stay in a beautiful city.

At first I was concerned about this property due to how close the bedroom is to the sidewalk/street, but as we went about town it was clear all properties are this way, so this is the norm, all in all very good. Property could use some new flooring but not a deal breaker, thanks!

Clean, good location, near king st. Had an issue with hvac, unfortunately on the coldest night in a few years. Was resolved after a few hours. Pet friendly was a plus.

Bugs were in one bed, shower head dislodged and exposed, basic linens nothing extra such as shower mats, sink mats, etc. Host was responsive to messages. Toiletries were “ok”. Overall, stay was ok, but simple fixes could benefit the unit.

Nice place & location

Place is very "Charlestonesque", an older home with lots of character, comfortable sitting area and kitchen. small but rather nice extra was a water filter pitcher in the fridge, but it had not been filled. Con was coffee maker (drip style and not K-cup style). Pro: Bed Linens were very nice and beds are comfortable. Great location within walking distance of all the places you want to go to. Difficult check in due to fact that I did not get email but very quick response on arrival.

Good location Unit A

The rental was in a good location to walk to King Street and other neighborhood restaurants. But the house was lacking in a few areas. When we arrived on Thursday evening for our 3 night stay, The hand soap in the bathroom was empty and I had to purchase one for the duration of our stay. the bathroom did not have a bath mat nor a fan in which lend itself to steaming up. The house had a very hard and uncomfortable couch… and the house smelled very musty on arrival - I purchased a air freshener cone to help with this issue. The rental above our unit was very noisy and beware that the bedroom windows are at the street level so you will hear noise. Not worth the price for everything that was lacking in the unit.

Good/ need to fix trip hazard

Everything was good/location, communication, cleanliness, etc. Please fix the flooring where the bedroom meets the living area. My husband tripped and could have hurt himself. I think for the price you could have supplied a few more amenities, i.e., laundry detergent, powdered creamer.
