I stayed here for a couple of nights to visit Charleston; it was a great decision! The host was friendly and communicated well. The location was also ideal as it was quiet yet there were many places to go nearby if you needed to buy food or other necessities. I would come here again whenever I visit Charleston for sure!

Nice place

Quite neighborhood and convenient access to local in Summerville. Entrance to neat, small room through garage of the owner but I'm not really mind. Great place to stay for 2 adults during short stay in the area.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 days. We spent most of our day at the beach and shopping around town. Our stay could not have been more perfect! Everything was very clean and well kept inside the room. The host Shawn was very kind and responsive to anything that we needed or had questions about. The bathroom was clean and tidy. It is a perfect place to stay for one or two people! Would consider staying her again in the future!

It is in a perfect location if you are seeing an elderly parent at Harmony, which less than .75 miles away. Summerville is close also. Downtown Charleston and the beaches are not really close. Nice golf course .2 miles away! Paul

Short visit

I traveled to see my mother for her 92 birthday and located this property to stay for the 3days. It was clean and quiet a bit tight quarters but the space was creatively and accomidatingly used.

Great place to stay

Property is in a safe neighborhood and it's easy to come and go. Bedroom is small but worked great for our time in N. Charleston visiting family bc all we needed was a place to sleep. I would stay there again. Thanks Shawn for your southern hospitality.

Great night’s stay after Charleston day

The accommodations are pleasant, clean and comfortable. We felt safe and enjoyed our experience. My only suggestion is that a ceiling fan would be nice. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Quiet retreat

The room had two identical twin beds neatly arranged, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for two. Adjacent to the sleeping area is a private bathroom, complete with all the essentials for convenience and privacy.You will access rooms through the garage door. The neighborhood was nice, safe and well manicured.

Best Experience Ever

There is no better host or place to stay. The Hilton should be sweating bullets with the 10 star level of customer service being offered by there competition. This place is clean beyond measure, peaceful, quiet, convenient, and hidden away from any foolishness. The shower was hot, the snacks were perfect and the room made me embarrassed by how adorably cute it was. This is the only place I plan on staying when I visit charleston.

Perfect!

Everything was as described in the post. This was a weekend trip for my husband and I for our anniversary. We came to South Carolina for a 2 day concert. So much fun, great experience. It was nice to have a safe place to sleep at night. After leaving this mornings, I realized that I had left my something important behind and when I contacted our host he found it. I’m super appreciative that he is willing to mail it to me. Thank you!

In town for family funeral

My 25 year old daughter lives in Charleston and her husband passed away in February 2023 after only one year of marriage. She was young and absolutely devastated. Shawn’s place was one of only two places with decent ratings in the general area that I needed to stay at the last minute for a week. He was gracious and accommodating, going out of his way to make the location available for me to check in 2 hours earlier than usual. I wasn’t sure about it all when I first arrived and realized that I had to open the automatic garage door, walk through, use one of the keys on the ring to open a door at the back that opened to a short hallway with a door on the left and a door at the end. The additional two keys on the ring were for those rooms. I was pleasantly surprised when I unlocked the door to the left and walked into a room with 2 twin beds, a writing desk, a wall mounted television, bedside table, refrigerator and microwave in a small closet, and other small amenities. The door at the end of the hallway was a private bathroom. This quaint setup was private from the main house and very affordable I highly recommend and would book with Shawn again. FIVE STARS!
