Close to everything, and was great for us and our adults kids. Unit was clean and well appointed, and StayDuvet was exceptionally responsive. They provided us with parking passes and sent someone over to fix the TV. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Had a wonderful time!
Had a wonderful trip. The place was in a great location, so much to do in walking distance. The only issue we had was some cleanliness. We found an acrylic nail was found in one of the beds. I think they came from the sheets in the closet and must’ve been missed when cleaning the house.
My family (husband and two adult children) stayed here during a visit for my niece's 30th birthday. The place was just right for our family, the beds were comfortable and the location was great. We stayed during a crazy heat wave (heat index of 112) and the unit was always cool and comfortable. The rooftop deck was also a nice place to gather and it was a great place to watch the sunset. The communication with the rental company was outstanding. They reached out before we arrived with all the details we'd need, sent a plan of activities for our stay and was responsive and friendly whenever we reached out. I would definitely stay here again and would look to use StayDuvet on my next visit!
We loved this property! Location was perfect. Easily walk to shopping and great food. Only 15 minute walk to King Street. The rooftop deck was an awesome bonus. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice place and excellent location, near everything with small grocery store just up the block. Great communication with the host. It’s above a small restaurant which looked really nice. Entrance is on the right side of the building, near the rear, but in a nice courtyard. There are stairs to the apartment and in the apartment. Recommend!
Overall it was a nice unit with a great location. I would call or email before booking, there is major construction going on behind the unit and it is a giant mud puddle. Also the downstairs shower is not the best with trying to regulate the water.

This would be a 5 star if:
More black make up towels since two small washcloth sized makeup towels for 4 women is not enough when the expectation is we need to keep the white world pristine. Luckily we don’t wear much make up so it wasn’t bad for us.

We loved the convenience of the location, the check out process. The owner was extremely helpful and accessible. That was the best part.
The unit was very nice, well equipped and clean. The owner happened to be there at one point and he was super nice. Once the construction is over and off-street parking is available, I would consider staying there again. However, the noise and parking hassle at the time of my rental was not good. The listing stated off-street parking at the time I reserved and that did not turn out to be the case. I would not have booked it had I known that the only parking would be on street. If you aren't bringing a car, then no worries. Driving around looking for a spot was a big hassle, especially on weekend evenings. Parking also required a permit each day and I was given 4 permits for a 7 night stay. Multiple emails were required to finally get 2 additional permits. The noise from construction was bad during the day, so we never used the rooftop deck, which I had been looking forward to. There were also metal plates in the street directly in front of the house, which made very loud "ka-thunks" every time a vehicle drove over them day and night. Again, very nice unit, but the current parking and noise situation was not ideal. Once that's over, I would recommend it, as the unit is nice and the location is convenient.
We loved staying at this property in Cannonborough! We were walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants and shops in the city, and a really close drive to everything else. We had a great mix of nights downtown and day trips to the beach from this location with easy parking right out back!
Our family of adults really enjoyed this property. It is about 3 blocks west of King Street and its lively nightlife. Not too close and not too far. The property was well appointed and had all we needed. We would stay there again.
We LOVED everything about the place!! This was the first time we have been able to spend spring break together, as a family, doing what we wanted to do together. Weather was GREAT! LOVED being so close to walking to King Street, College of Charleston, Meeting Street and all between!! We will recommend the place to others for accommodations. The Bistro downstairs was an added little gem as well as the rooftop deck!! We were sad to pack up and leave.
My husband and I and our 4 teenagers had such a nice time. The apartment is above The Magic Baguette, which was a great little cafe to start our mornings with. The parking was easy and well marked. The private roof top deck was priceless! There were plenty of people walking the streets around us which confirmed for me our safety and great location to most of the desirable places in Charleston. Overall, we had a great time and there’s no doubt that a lot of that had to do with being comfortable and feeling accommodated.
Super close walk to King without the crazy noise at night.
This property is wonderful and located on a quiet street just a couple blocks away from all the activities on King Street. The only negative, if you could call it that, would be the stairs getting into the property and up to the roof for the incredible view. Really easy for fit/normal people but those who are older, with joint issues or small children just need to be more careful.

We loved the area. Easy access and very clean!!! The beds were a little hard in 2 rooms and the washer and dryer were old. I had clothes get caught in an area on the dryer and the vent is broken. Other than a few minor things it was fantastic. It is decorated well and the hosts did a great job and everything was as expected.

Charming Old House
Enjoyed the house we stayed at. It had a lot of charm but too many stairs for older women having to carry luggage and groceries. Lovely rooftop outdoor area didn’t discover it till the second to last day unfortunately. The restaurant below had an outdoor area that got a little noisy in the morning. It would have been nice if the windows had screens. Otherwise we enjoy are stay and loved all the windows giving the house a nice cheerful feeling.
