The location and amenities were very good, but the overall experience didn't quite reach the 4 or 5-star level I expected. It felt more like a solid 3.5-star stay—comfortable and pleasant, but missing those extra touches that define a luxury resort.

There were some dirty clothes left in a small dresser in the closet, but other than that the room was extremely clean. Staff was great. Housekeeping refreshed towels and wash clothes daily. I do wish there was access to a microwave for warming up food. But I appreciate the complimentary cappuccino machine and water coolers on the property.

I love this beautiful resort. The rooms are bright and clean. The hotel provides a shuttle to Charleston which is convenient. The water taxi is also a great option.
