"Found a hidden gem nestled in the forest. Quaint and rich with history. Accommodations at The Homestead were cozy and warm on some cooler temps during our 2 night stay. The views were magnificent and enhanced with deer that made their appearances. If you are looking for something private, relaxing yet close enough to some beautiful lakes, you will be well rewarded here. A great mercantile store in Condon that will provide you with a great variety. Andy, the host was so amazing and accomodating. Even was our concierge helping us bring in our supply of luggage and coolers. Our pups were welcomed there and finding a place like this was very affordable. The library variety provided was superlative. If Glacier is a destination, you’re about 85 miles away. Will definitely return and highly recommend."
