Checking in was a breeze. Interesting setup with the hotel check-in being on the 10th floor and condo concierge in the lobby. Valet parking was somewhat confusing at checkout with scanning the ticket. Be sure to look on the back to complete request. Overall, it’s a nice hotel. Pros: clean, great water pressure, consistent hot water, comfy pillows and sitting area. Cons: no fine dining, no microwave and limited bar (order straight drinks or something i.e. vodka and cranberry).
There was a horrible smell, carpet was nasty, only one working elevator, no ice machine on the floor, the photos on Expedia are VERY misleading. The room was outdated, mattress was awful. For 350$ a night, it absolutely not worth it. Most of the staff was rude.
They only had 1 elevator going to the rooms so it was very inconvenient. However during peek times they had a person manning the elevator to help speed things up.
A little hard to find your way to the entrance but otherwise was a perfect spot to stay stay downtown and see a show at spectrum center. Nice views and breakfast included. Would stay again!
THE ELEVATORS DIDN'T WORK. THE STAFF DID THEIR BEST, BUT IT WAS EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT. ALSO THERE WAS A LOT OF NOISE FROM UNRULEY PEOPLE IN THE HOTEL. "NOT A STAFFING OR HOTEL FAULT.
Overall, the hotel has a friendly staff and inclusive breakfast with plenty of dining choices. However, the aging carpets detract from the cleanliness and ambiance of the place.
I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and the location is great for walking to both basketball and football events. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean and quiet.

Property is fine I didn’t like the fact that when I went to check in I was charge again for protection fee when everything was always book with Expedia and the elevator wasn’t working had to take the staff elevator then ask a staff where there always be someone riding up and down the elevator to take us to our floor she said yes but to come find out you have to use your key to have access to the floor every time I use the sink in the bathroom there was a leak inform front desk they said they have to put in a work order overall very nice hotel but need to inform your guest more about any extra fees or maintenance work need to be done in the room.
The parking is expensive, the elevator was broken. Everything else was pretty good

Property was fine, but the elevators kept messing up and several stopped working. It was a holiday weekend, there is a 5 star restaurant in the hotel, and there was an NBA game across the street. Needless to say, It was packed all weekend and the elevator was desperately needed
even with valet parking was difficult .Otherwise stay was wonderful.

Hotel is nice but outdated. Parking is a nightmare! Just trying to figure out how to get to the entrance is horrible. If you stay on a night that they are having several events in downtown, the parking line is winding around to sitting on the street. The elevators are a joke! They were all down the night we stayed here. That means walking up several flights of stairs to your room

Staff was very pleasant but elevator was broken and there were big crowds in lobby trying to get up to floors 1-9. People were using stairs and carrying heavy bags.
It is always nice to get an included breakfast but food was not great. Blocked car in driveway prevented checking in for 30 minutes. Not their fault but just another inconvenience.
The room smelled horrible. It was not very clean. The parking was very expensive. People were in the halls making noise at midnight. Overall not satisfied with the stay. The only good part was breakfast great selection of foods.
The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, the dining options were excellent. The breakfast was great unlike other hotel breakfast. The Valet parking staff was a little short- staffed. Otherwise, the overall experience was good, and I would definitely come back to stay when I am in Charlotte.

Convenient. Room was basic. A lot of empty space. No water provided. Could not stream on TV. Good breakfast buffet. Walkable to Spectrum Center. Difficult to get to hotel with one way streets.
