Spacious and light filled loft right on the downtown mall. Great parking and access to shops and restaurants. Staircase to loft bedroom has very short steps so extra care needed coming down.
Great location steps from restaurants and shopping. Only 20 minutes from lots of wineries. Open concept living. Only drawbacks are the bathroom is downstairs, and you need to dress upstairs bc there are windows with no curtains/blinds. Sun fills the upstairs loft in the a.m.
We had a great time at the loft! It's beautifully furnished and located perfectly on the downtown mall. However, if you plan to sleep before 11 pm on weekends, I'd recommend using earplugs due to the noise. Also, the lock on the front door was extremely difficult to open, which felt like a safety concern as it took multiple attempts to enter or exit the property. Despite this, when we called the emergency line for help, someone answered promptly and stayed on the phone with us until we were able to open the lock successfully.

The stairs are a thing, but as long as you know going in and don't have limitations isn't a big deal(we're in our 50's and managed fine). Bright and airy, loved all the natural light from the sky lights. If visiting in summer when the sun comes up pretty early, I'd suggest a sleep mask.
The location is very centrally located, with plenty of dinning options right out the front door. Wasn't much happening in the way of night life during our visit, but I can imagine during the warmer months there may be more activity right outside the windows.
Only thing we didn't care for is having to go down the stairs in the middle of the night if yo needed to use the bathroom, wouldn't stop me from staying here again though.
No issues with parking, was easy to find and get in and out of.
I was impressed with the property and enjoyed the stay. Would recommend this property to a friend. Only con about the stay was the door code changed on us however the property manager was able to resolve the issue quickly.
We loved everything about the property. Location can’t be beat, was very clean, and very well decorated. I cannot rave enough about the design and look! If we come back to Charlottesville we will definitely stay here again.
Great stay. Really enjoyed being right on the mall. Just make sure you read all the directions as the parking lot is close to the apt just not right next to the parking lot. We can't wait to come back and stay again.

Horrible experience getting in and out of this unit…needs N overhaul of the locks and keyless access….should not be this hard…
Property was very clean and in a good location. My husband and I did read the listing about the light and no shades on the windows. I didn’t realize that there was a street light that stays on for a good portion of the night so bring a sleep mask. There is also a bar right next to the property that stays open late and there was a lot of noise until 2am. But you can’t beat the location, walking distance to restaurants, bars and Ting Pavillon. Once we found the parking it was close and easy to get to the apartment with luggage.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property... the modern look/feel, the beautiful sunlight pouring in every morning, and the quiet energy of the downtown Charlottesville area may for an enjoyable time. In the future, I hope the Wood Company Loft is available when I travel to the area.
Couldn’t be better located. The only downside is my wife trying to talk me into buying it the whole time. Seriously great host and property. We will return

On the downtown mall with lots of restaurants and bars. Really great location for those reasons. Check in process with the keypad on the door was problematic but solved once we had a key. Lots of stairs if that is a problem for some people. Wasn’t a big problem for us. Parking is convenient but the lot gets full at busy times. Really like the condo. Very interesting set up.

A letter prior to our check in was sent. Instructions for parking, wifi, building code but NO INFORMATION how to get into the apartment. We called for 3 hours with no response to our urgent message. We finally went to the office address to do this in person. Got to the office address and the business did not exist there!!
We then went to City Hall to see if the management company was legit. Seeking Better Business Bureau complaints.
Out daughter in law said she knew the “owner” of the business and put a direct call to him. Voila!!! We got a return phone call with instructions how to get in.
This apartment requires 3 flights of steep metal stairs. The bedroom loft has no bathroom. You
