Even though it was not the reason we were there we ended up deep in the heart of the University strip! Absolutely Charming great Vibes great restaurants easy to find parking. The energy emanating from the young people was palpable! Fun times!

Lots to see and do! We walked the Saunders-Monticello trail, toured the original UVA campus from the Rotunda, and hiked the Blue Ridge Tunnel trail. Bodo's Bagels next to the hotel has great authentic NY bagels.

"Brand new property, the super nice lady at the front desk said that it had only been open for about 9 weeks, so everything is fresh and new. Great little kitchenette and nice appliances, It is a little bare bones, but nicer than some of the other places we have stayed on our cross country trip. "
"We picked the Doyle for its location; this was a one night stop on a longer vaca, and it was perfect. Toured Monticello then checked in here and walked to Belmont and the downtown mall for dinner and ice cream. Another short walk in the AM for brunch and a stroll thru UVa campus before we left. Standard room was fine - minimalist, but clean and everything you need. Lobby, bar and rooftop restaurant are all beautiful!"
