"Charming cottages (both the Tea House & Ivy Rose) on a lovely property with great location. Mary is a kind and accommodating host! The cottages are unique & rich with character. Access to the Tea House does involve a handful of gracefully landscaped steps down to it’s private outdoor porches. A great spot for coffee in the morning! Will return. "

"The home is much larger than pictures show. It’s filled with history and could not be more homey. The owners live next door and are the most lovely people! It’s a gorgeous and serene property. Our spring visit, included baby goats & chicks. As well as, so many beautiful flowers in bloom. I would live here!! 10/10!"

"Wonderful place to stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday and attend some UVA baseball games. Honey B had everything we needed and then some. Very peaceful place nearby to UVA. "

"We LOVED this home! Stayed here for a bachelorette trip! It was extremely cozy and welcoming. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed the convenience to town and wineries; however, beware this home had an abundance of stink bugs (understandable as this home is in the woods) but there were many dead ones under the pillows of the couch and in some of the beds, but we didn’t mind flicking them away. We were also told to “enjoy the wine and treats” in the home, but we arrived and no wine nor treats were to be found. Not a big deal, but something we were expecting because we were told about it! Overall, a good stay, and would recommend to others as long as you don’t mind bugs!"

"What a gem! Everything in Charlottesville was so expensive so we widened our search and I am so glad that we did! The Crossroads Inn was amazing. Our room was so cute! We signed up for the dinner with wine pairings from the local vineyard, which was delicious. The breakfasts were so good - super fresh. And they thought of everything - feed to give to the chickens, water and snacks, and chocolates too. The staff was so friendly. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You won't regret it."
