"What a gem! Everything in Charlottesville was so expensive so we widened our search and I am so glad that we did! The Crossroads Inn was amazing. Our room was so cute! We signed up for the dinner with wine pairings from the local vineyard, which was delicious. The breakfasts were so good - super fresh. And they thought of everything - feed to give to the chickens, water and snacks, and chocolates too. The staff was so friendly. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You won't regret it."

The property was in a great location for us as the purpose of our trip was to visit nearby hiking trails and Charlottesville. "Quiet, Peaceful, absolutely beautiful setting. We stayed in Earth room. If you can envision days gone by where a family lived in one room and stories were told by the fire- this is a modern day version. We loved that all of us were together versus siloed in separate rooms. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and trails around the property. There are many places to sit and connect with nature. "

"This is a 100 year-old farm house that was delightful. We are here for a family wedding and there are 11 of us which fit in perfectly . We range an age from four years old up to 87 and each of us was comfortable the kids delighted in feeding the donkeys and the goats and seeing the chickens. We would come back without hesitation a lovely peaceful place. The caretaker was very available and friendly."

"VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund."
