"While the inn wasn’t quite what I was expecting, it met our needs. The rooms were clean but definitely dated. The mattress sagged in a way that made me feel I might roll right off. The shower was okay but they didn’t provide body wash (shampoo & conditioner were there). The location was very convenient to the highway but not in the setting you’d picture for an old English inn. I chose this place for its proximity to the Nat’l Park but wouldn’t choose it again since there are other places that are closer. Can’t speak for the breakfast, didn’t even know they served it. Sounds like a lot of negatives for a 4 star review but like I said, it met our needs."

"Such a fantastic place! We were only there for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. TOP of the line everything. Bed was like a dream sleep. I loved the curved dining table nook for doing a little work. And the location...nothing better if you are visiting Monticello. Great find. Great stay."
