The Great George

The Great George

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay in Charlottetown at The Great George. This is really a unique hotel, and I have never stayed anywhere quite like it. The hotel really compromises a ~block of historic downtown buildings and homes that have all been renovated and converted into modern hotel rooms. It combines the best of all worlds - location right in the middle of everything, historic charm, and modern amenities and I couldn't recommend this hotel more. The parking was free and available, the room large, clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. We loved and noticed all the extra's (heated bathroom floor, extra seating, secure entrance, fast and easy internet, large TV with extensive channel collection). The lobby is wonderful and inviting, and although we didn't get to experience the breakfast (too busy in PEI!) it smelled great. Loved the tea and coffee bar, wine gatherings, cookies. I couldn't rent this hotel highly enough and am looking forward to our next visit."

"To start with, the room was clean and bright. The breakfast was unexpectedly good because they offered a vegan breakfast which aligns with our preferred way of eating. And that they had laundry facilities on the lower level wrapped everything together for a pleasant stay."

"We were quite pleased with our stay at the Quality Inn on Euston in Charlottetown. It is an older building but everything is kept clean and tidy. We struggled a bit with our a/c but weren't in our room enough to make a formal complaint, so that's on us. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was generous and tasty. And you are a short walk to the shops/restaurants and sites of Charlottetown. We would definitely stay here again!"
