  • Welcome to your PEI home base. This charming, centrally located space is designed for comfort and ease, just 7-10 minutes from downtown Charlottetown. A perfect spot to unwind after exploring our beautiful Island!

    Queen Elizabeth is a bright and thoughtfully designed private, lower level suite, located in central Charlottetown. This space offers comfort, privacy and excellent value for your PEI stay.
    (PLEASE NOTE; THIS IS THE LOWER UNIT OF AN OVER/UNDER DUPLEX, WITH A SEPARATE SUITE ABOVE!)

    Please Note: This suite is located on the lower level of the home and offers a private, comfortable, and budget-friendly stay close to downtown Charlottetown. As with most basement suites, the space is naturally cooler and has less natural light than an upper-level accommodation. During the summer months, we use dehumidification to help keep the space comfortable. We believe in being transparent so guests know exactly what to expect and can enjoy a stay that fits their needs.

    The suite features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer in unit, and a welcoming layout for relaxing.

    Each bedroom offers a queen bed, making this space perfect for two couples, small family or friends travelling together. A comfortable, affordable homebase with everything you need!

The location was great, next to the beach and sports fields. The apartment was decorated nice but don't let the pictures in the ads fool you because but it's old and smells terrible, very musty. I immediately started looking for somewhere else to stay when I checked in because of the smell but there was nothing else available. The host let me know that her big dehumidifier had broken and there was a replacement on the way but it took until day 3 to get the replacement and the new one definitely wasn't not big enough to handle the dampness in the apartment. I don't think the unit is cleaned properly - there were dust balls behind the fridge., there were cobwebs by the washer and dryer , there was mold under the sink in the bathroom as well as mold in the air conditioner and around the windows in one of the bedrooms. They was a plug-in outlet with no cover and one in the bathroom was falling out of the wall. Definitely not safe with kids . It is definitely not well insulated , we could hear every sound rom the upstairs unit. I would not recommend staying here!
