"For the price of a room, this hotel is super out dated, falling apart, I had a hole in my carpet, a hole in the wall, it’s just in need of repair. I had no hot water at my sink, the shower did but if you had the hot water on it made extremely loud noises until you turned it back to cold. So I “enjoyed” a cold shower. This property needs a lot of work! I had said something from a past stay (Last June 2025) and I was told it was noted. Today I was given 2000 Bonvoy points for my cold shower. "

"Wonderful stocked kitchen! Plenty of pots & pans and baking supplies. Comfortable beds, lots of area to spread out. Perfect location for a large family gathering. Pet friendly home as well with fenced in! We didn’t bring any pets but said we would another time. We hope to be back! "

"This is a wonderful house--cozy, comfortable, decorated with great flair and individuality, clean, convenient, and more. Great location. We always need to cook at rentals, and the kitchen was unusually well stocked with equipment and more. The host was communicative and responsive. "

"What we liked: the room looked just like it did in the photo online. It was clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable. What we didn’t like: 1. The view out the window was of the Dollar Store and its parking lot. Definitely not scenic. Also thought the “sitting area” outside was not real appealing. It had a dumpster right next to it. 2. Put some shelves on the wall in the bathroom! There’s no place to set any of your toiletries! 3. The bath soap bar for the shower was the size of a postage stamp - literally. It fell through the wire basket in the shower and broke into shards. 4. The ac/heating unit was one of those that sits right next to the bed and cycles on and off all night. Makes it hard to sleep. 5. The wall between rooms isn’t very soundproof. I was awakened 2 mornings at 5:00 a.m. by our neighbors who were actually not talking loudly, but I could almost make out everything they said."

"Easy on and off the highway with grocery store, gas, and McDonalds nearby. The owner was great with information about fishing and the boat ramp was just down the road, although Giles is closed. Thx Matt"
