At checkout we asked about getting a taxi, and we're told that taxis were nearly non-existent after covid. This is 2025. The guy running the front desk took us in his personal car down to the train station. It was great service"

"Michael and Annie's house is set in a area of rural beauty, 25 minutes walk out of the stunning architectural town of pont d' eveque. A rustic 16th century house full of character complete with a communal pool, surrounded by many acres of land, graced with the presence of dear and a lake stocked with coy and common carp to observe. "A pleasant place for our one night stopover but would have been good for longer. The position on the lake was lofelu. Staff were friemdly and helpful and it was good to get a vegan meal with advance warning.
The only drawbacks are that there no lift (but next time we will request a ground floor room) and the shower is over the bathub and not separate. However, we loved our stay and will happily return."
