"What a wonderful place. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Even a bottle of their wine to enjoy. We used the pool as it was a hot day and we had been walking a lot so it helped our aching legs! Sadly we were only here one night but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.     "We are so lucky to have found Maison Groleau in Mombrier which was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for a couple of nights while preparing for her forthcoming marriage in Bordeaux.The house is absolutely beautiful-decorated and furnished in a very modern,stylish way,set amongst the vines with stunning views everywhere,extremely comfortable bedrooms,delicious freshly prepared breakfasts which changed each day and the option of enjoying a fabulous gourmet dinner at the house on prior reservation.The owners Guillaume and Pierre-Louis made us feel very welcome and we are very grateful to them for looking after us both so well.It was a magical stay which we will remember with great fondness as part of the whole French wedding experience.A truly hidden gem which we thoroughly recommend and hopefully we will be able to return in the future!Many thanks :)"
