I was disappointed with the restaurant recommendation given by several staff members of 1865e Palais. It was terrible, a total tourist trap. Dint go there. Perhaps they are receiving a kickback. It was the worst food Ive ever had in France! The staff seems generally unaware of restaurants in Marseille. They should know better.
I also mentioned burned out lights in the bathroom but nothing was done.
Overall it’s a decent place in a great location. Just don’t take their recommendations.

"We booked late afternoon but this hotel still had rooms. Comfortable, nice setting in the country, we didn't use the pool, not many restaurants nearby. Not a brilliant breakfast with only one hothoice."
