Excellent location in the heart of Avignon old town with a wonderful breakfast. Given the hotel is in a very old historic building the stairs are a little daunting, very steep. The advice we got for what to see in Avignon was really helpful

The main lobby was very impressive. The architecture gave the hotel a good feel. The breakfast was good, but not great. But theroom was fine. Not that it is any fault of the hotel, but rail travelers beware, the TGV station is about 10 miles from the town and it cost me $100 for the two taxi rides. Kind of made me wish that I’d skip this town. If you are traveling by car, it seems to be a very nice place to stay.
