The room was lovely and all the staff were very friendly and polite. The meal in the evening was very well presented and delicious the breakfast was absolutely great. We have no hesitation in booking again

Charming, cosy room which was lovely and clean. Bed not very comfortable, couldn’t sleep due to heat of room and sound of air conditioning machine on roof outside our window. Lovely, clean room (Muckle). Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a few little niggles, such as the tv remote had no cover over the batteries and didn’t work properly as a result. We had a really enjoyable stay at the Sandpiper. I have previously stayed at the Sanderling. Both provide amazing glamping experiences. Easy access although hotel was difficult to find. Lovely area with lots to see and do.
Bar area felt out of character with the rest of the hotel, but that's a minor point
Perfect cottage in a perfect location especially for seeing Northumberland
