The Space: Tucked away in the seaside community Chemainus, and perched overlooking the majestic Gulf Islands from Vancouver Island, is the amazing Beach House Suite.

The Beach House Suite is newly renovated in late 2022 to ensure guests can enjoy a beach house experience with sweeping views of the ocean and the islands that dot the coastline.
The property has been built for both indoor and outdoor ocean view living.
Spectacular sunrises are to be witnessed from the east facing windows and property.
Indoors you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for both adults and children.
The primary bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and ensuite with walk in shower.
The second bedroom comes with a new queen bed while the third bedroom has a bunk bed with singles best suited for children.
There is a full sized second bathroom located between the second and third bedrooms.
The well appointed living room space provides comfortable seating, bay view windows, AC, and smart TV to watch your favourite streaming services.
The open plan living room also has a large dining table that supports six diners with both chairs and bench style seating.
The fully equipped kitchen will ensure the chef in your group can create wonderful meals for your group to enjoy. There is additional seating and table for 4 in the kitchen nook.
Through the doors from the living room you can access the fully enclosed atrium with additional seating to bask in the views and a workstation which is just the right size for your laptop.
Enter the sundecks and patio living areas to live life outdoors with one of the most incredible sea views from your own backyard. Bring your camera! You will find ample comfortable outdoor seating, lounging furniture, and a gas powered fire pit (please note that the outdoor furniture does get winterized during the off season). Observe the marine wildlife that live both on air, land, and sea. If you are lucky, you may see whales from time to time.
The property includes parking for two vehicles and there is street parking. Bring your electric vehicle, we have a charger! The suite comes with both a washer and dryer for your convenience.
A short walk away is Kinsmen Beach Park with playground equipment and a wonderful beach to enjoy.
Take a stroll into the downtown area of Chemainus and view the world famous murals and explore the many shops and restaurants. Take in a dinner theatre experience at the Chemainus Theatre.
Located in the Cowichan Valley which is the heart of Vancouver Island’s wine country, no trip is complete without a tour of the local wineries which is rated one of the best in Canada.
Love hiking, off roading, or mountain biking? There are plenty of mountains, lakeside, and marine parks for all levels of experience. Check out the Hermit Trail or Fuller Lake Park in Chemainus.

There is international ferry access to Vancouver Island from Port Angeles Washington or Anacortes Washington into Greater Victoria which are between 90 and 60 minutes drive away. Two main airports via Nanaimo 20 minutes away or Victoria International Airport 90 minutes away.

The Beach House Suite is in a great location with wonderful sea views, plenty of space, well equipped and comfortable beds. The outside space offers every opportunity to relax and enjoy the views from numerous sitting areas either on the extensive patio or the balcony. We loved the property and would book again.
We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean. Great views of the water. Quiet neighborhood and close to groceries and the main hwy for traveling. Perfect for our family getaway. Highly recommended.
The view from the house did not disappoint. It was amazing to see the ocean so calm and even orcas on a couple of occasions.
The house was great and the management very responsive.
We would definitely like to rent this place again in the future.
Our stay at this home was wonderful albeit short. Our family and friends were able to enjoy the beautiful views from the back part of the home which overlooks gorgeous scenery. We would likely return again should the opportunity arise.

The house had a beautiful view of the channel in front of the house and the Gulf Islands beyond. It was a very warm environment, included an atrium, with plenty of space for hanging out.

We rented this good sized, tastefully renovated and decorated home for a 5 day trip with our young adult kids and dog. Well stocked, good sized kitchen and lots of space to enjoy group meals. Huge television and living room for evening movies (though streaming services require guests to log into their personal accounts) and fantastic indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the expansive water views. Beach access is a few minutes walk away and its easy to walk to the quaint, historic shops "downtown", too. Loved the air conditioning! We only wished that there had been an option to compost food scraps. We noted that Chemainus does compost pick up but no bin was provided at this house. A management property company oversees this rental so there is extra paperwork once booking is accepted. But their staff was very professional and highly responsive to questions. We recommend this property.
The Beach house suite was perfect for our late family Christmas celebrations. Being able to have our dogs come along was wonderful. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The view was incredible. We enjoyed the quiet street that we were on and the convenience of the grocery store. A really lovely home.
Parking was good and covered. The amenities were great and we lacked nothing. The living areas were spacious and comfortable. The views were spectacular and the hot tub a welcoming feature. Only one minor problem, we are used to slightly softer beds. Overall a beautiful vacation home and we highly recommend The Beach House Suite.

Amazing experience in a stellar property and location
End to end the experience with the host and management company has been stellar. The location, amazing views, quiet neighborhood, proximity to sights, maintenance of the property, awesome sunroom and backyard with beautiful sunrise views has been none less than exceptional. We had fun during our stay in this meticulously clean, bright, and comfortable home. While there is a wonderful outdoor space, we especially appreciated having the sunroom to enjoy the amazing view in colder weather. The property management team is very friendly and responsive. We highly recommend it and would definitely go back.
Overall impression was very good . It was a mixed bag with the weather so nice to have an outdoor patio and a glassed in patio to enjoy the ocean view.
Only suggestion I would make is to include a toaster in the kitchen .
House is well equipped and a/c works great. Screens for sun room would be nice so one could sit in when it has been a hot day

Only one thing to be aware of is there is no electrical outlets in either of the bathrooms. Made it a little tough to do your hair. Had issue with refrigerator as the maid turned it off and everything was melted when we woke up. We were able to figure out how to turn it back on and property manger was very helpful.
