"This is truly an amazing and very well maintained property at an even more amazing value. Truly old world luxury with beautiful marble and wood fittings. Even the curtains were a feast for the eyes. The bathroom was a true luxury with mirrors and lighting in all the right places. The marble wall is a work of art with grain resembling bamboo which is so fitting for Chengdu! The breakfast was also amazing with very good quality food and drinks. Stayed 4 nights and the only thing I would say they can improve on is perhaps have a mirror in the room and vacuum the floor daily (as some remnants of nuts were still left on the carpet on our last day). A perfect stay at incredible value."

"We were given a room with smokey smell when we brought that up to the staff they were happy in findng a more suitable unit. Buffet breakfast was good with many selections, only if guests know to close the lid after getting their food would be helpful in keeping the food warn."

"Generally ok, but the hotel itself was old though well maintained. The room I stayed in, the plumbing for the shower area was not too good as water flowed v slowly. The hairdryer was also fixed to the drawer so I had to be in the toilet to use it. Otherwise all good. They also allowed me to switch from twin room (I booked wrongly) to a room with queen bed. As it was my birthday, the hotel also prepared a cake and decor for me.. thanks!"
