I stayed in a business suite impressed by the art pieces as room decor. The staff I encountered were all friendly and attentive. Hotel breakfast buffet provided quality and variety. Dinner at their restaurant was excellent.
A service above all hotel in central Chengdu. The minute I arrive till I check out, everyone was eager to help to make my stay comfortable. Room upgrade for Expedia platinum member. Luggage delivered to room and welcome fruit provided. Breakfast was excellent and plenty. Room was elegant and luxurious. Definitely the hotel to stay in Chengdu.
Fabulous property, staff, service and breakfast. Pure luxury at a very reasonable price. All the hotels we have chosen in China have been great but this outstanding! UK residents for reference.
Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and professional throughout our stay. Both breakfast and lunch were outstanding, with an incredible selection of fresh seafood and so many delicious options.
The room was huge, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bed linen was wonderfully soft and delicate. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and would happily come back again.
I really enjoyed my stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu. The room was spacious and quiet, which made for a very comfortable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and treated us like friends throughout our stay. I particularly appreciated the smooth check-in and check-out process, the lovely afternoon tea in the club lounge, and the thoughtful turndown service each evening.
My family (5 in total) stayed in two rooms here for 5 nights. We really enjoyed the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Luca Spatafora, who provided personalized support throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!
Great help from Luca to show us the highlights near the hotel and also from concierge team as they organized a day tour for us.
Restaurant Li Xuan is a must!
Ritz Carlton Chengdu is the top notch hotel to stay at. Situated conveniently near Chunxi Road and the main tourists attractions. The staff Sam Tung was the star of the hotel. His professionalism and warmth in welcoming us to not just the hotel, but to Chengdu as a whole.
Staff are very helpful . Special thanks to Ms Carol Liu at the restaurant for her exceptional hospitality and help during our stay . Chinese restaurant at the hotel is excellent with delicate dishes .
Lovely hotel with a lot of little touches that makes it special.
There is a good variety of food in the club lounge, however I would recommend if you didn’t have to have breakfast early due to the volume of people, I would use the main restaurant.
I would have given it five stars but when we arrived to check in, I gave our passports etc to the main reception on level 25 who said our room wasn’t ready, this being 3.30pm. They kindly took us to the club lounge so that we could have afternoon tea. (We did have a club room booked). At 4.30pm, I queried if our room was ready at the club lounge reception, which it was. Wasn’t too bothered that we had been ‘forgotten’ as it’s a very nice area to chill out. However, the following night when we came to use the lounge we were asked to produce our passports and credit card again so that we could ‘check in’ as this hadn’t been done the previous day, even though I’d given them to the main reception. These things happen but it would have been nice to have had an apology instead of being made to feel guilty.
Worth a try their breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff, hotel in city centre and easy to get to everywhere, will pick the same hotel when I come back to Chengdu next time
Level of service was very high, particularly my concierge Cherry who arranged everything from dinner reservations to a free hotel shuttle to the panda center. Multiple staff members greeted me by name in the hallway. I enjoyed my stay.
