Terribly disapointed in this property. Description on Hotels.com was very deceptive, consequently did not warrant the price we had to pay. Too many things to go into detail. Will never return.

Super run down

The hotel was in very bad condition. Some of the bedsheets and towels had clear stains. This was rather disgusting. There was no remote control for one of the air conditioners. The refrigerator had a lot of rust inside. The bathrooms were not nice at all. In general the place is extremely run down and it seems like there has been no attept to maintain the place in years. The restaurant is also run down. We did not feel comfortable there at all and the price was extremely high for such a place. It really felt like a rip off.

The hotel was ok although cleanliness wasn't great in our room. Location is fantastic right on the beach and short walk into Kovalam town. There's not a lot to do there but it's in easy reach of Mamallapuram, Crocodile sanctuary, Pondicherry, Chennai, etc Wifi is only available in reception, which isn't great these days On the plus side the staff are great, very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent and well priced. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay but there are a few things that can/need to be improved.

On the beach hotel

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel & the 1st day was heavy rain so took more than 2hours from Chennai airport! But if the road is fine, maybe around 1 hour enough. Anyway, if you do surfing, it is the best position to stay here. Surfing school is just next & can rent the board in around 300rps/1h. This hotel has also many attraction, inside & outside, too. Room is fine for family, living space & Bed room separate. & there are cottage type. Staff are nice, too. It will be nice time if you want to spend a time in nearby Ocean.

Beautiful place to unwind

Very nice and neat property! Service and food quality was very good. Rooms were sound proofed so we did not get disturbed by any traffic noise from outside. Beach is nearby and snacks and soft drinks are available. Perfect place to chill with family.. Rooms were clean and neat. Over all a very good experience and worth the place to stay.
