Fantastic stay for a family for four

Amazing stay at Somerset greenways for a family of 4. From the great service at the buffet breakfast to convenience of the 24h restaurant to super friendly front desk staff to flexible/friendly housekeeping team. Our room was clean and welcoming. Any amenities we needed were quickly addressed.

We got sick the entire stay at the hotel. I arrived early around 1 pm only to drop my bags but they gave me my room anyway, which was nice, but I have a feeling they didn’t sanitize properly. In the name of going green I think their cleaning/sanitizing protocols have gotten lax. I fell sick the day after we checked in, 2 days later my daughter fell sick and just as she was getting better, I fell sick again, at that point I was willing to loose my money checked out.

The property is good with all the features and comfort that is required. But the staff is very bad. They will make you feel as if they are doing some favour to us by allowing you to stay there. If you were sleeping inside your room and the door knocks and you do not open, the management will open the door get inside the room and wake you up from the bed and communicate whatever they want to communicate and trust me. This will be done by a lady front desk or supervisor who is trained from special land called Nagaland and they don’t feel any problem in doing so and they will effectively argue with you telling you how right it is to actually barge into someone’s room whether you are in whatever position doesn’t matter to them the matter needs to be communicated and it is like do or die or I am sure you know about border patrol

This property was a real find!! We had a two bedroom apartment that way exceeded my expectations. My grandchildren (18 & 19) were in one bedroom and I was in the other. Their bedroom had two LARGE twin beds and I had a king bed. We both had lovely bathrooms - mine with tub and shower and theirs with shower only. We shared a kitchen, laundry, living room, dining room. Both bedrooms had large picture windows and the living room had a nice balcony. We especially appreciated a water cooler in our apartment so that we had unlimited purified water. We had an airport pickup and they sent two SUVs in case we had lots of luggage. The restaurants at the facility were wonderful. The main, 24 hour restaurant, specialized in local cruise and was delicious with excellent service. I did not try the cheese restaurant but my grandchildren like it. The Asian restaurant had really delicious food but we had difficulty communicating with the staff and service was very slow. The food was so good, however that I would eat there again. There is a well stocked little store in the hotel for snacks, things you forgot, etc. we decided to go on a day exploring and the hotel provided a beautiful SUV and a wonderful driver at a nominal cost. Also, we had an event where four of us needed to be dressed in saris and a lovely woman came to our room and dressed us provided by the hotel. They had excellent and functional umbrellas for guest use. The hot water was hot and good pressure. A

Staff were friendly and helpful. The service apartment type rooms with utensils, spacious rooms was good. What I did not like was there was no place for my driver to take a shower. Most other hotels of this standard have these facilities for the drivers.

Food in the restaurant was very good & i cud notice 10-20 tiny cockroaches in the cupboard area as well as the bathroom...this was very disappointing
