"The room was lean, but the shower floor had a brown build up in the corner, which made me uneasy. They only lean your room if you request! The pool was nice and because the hotel was not busy, it was enjoyable. I wish I could say good things about the staff. Fifteen minutes after checking in the front desk was unmanned. I called, knocked on the office door to no avail. The phone began ringing and no one answered. It rang twice while I was trying to find someone. I wanted to pay for two sodas from the cooler, but finally gave up, went to my room, and then waited for the morning staff, and explained that I had been unable to pay for them the night before. BTW, the lady at the desk that morning was nice, but charged me more than the costs (I believe she just made a mistake on the size. When I purchased two more the next afternoon, I was charged the correct amount, I did not ask for a refund. Breakfast was ok, but sparse. Checking out was fine, although the same young man who checked me in and disappeared was there this morning when I checked out. I mentioned not being able to find him Tuesday afternoon and he said that I should have called him. Interesting, since he did not answer the two calls that 1st evening, I am not sure that I would stay there again. "

"Apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Very welcoming and beautiful home. Close enough to everything, yet secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. The eggs, milk, bread and jelly were amazing. Cant wait to come back. "

"We had a great stay. The staff was responsive and super accommodating for our check-in timing. The bar/restaurant was outstanding. Great food. Great atmosphere. We completely lucked out and happened to stay when it was open-mic night at the restaurant and couldn't have been more thrilled. Felt like we stumbled into a truly local experience. Absolutely fantastic!"

"We experienced exactly what we wanted away from the hotel and faster pace of the city. It is a wonderful older family farm setting in every way and we totally enjoyed it. The hosts are wonderful folks and we were close enough to the sites and sounds we came to see. We would gladly recommend this to anyone who also is flexible and looking for a more down to earth atmosphere"

"Great value for the location and amenities. Host was great and very responsive. Property is very large and unique to area with log cabin and historic stone interiors. There is one king bedroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs (master with king, and 2 with queen beds). Upscale appliances in kitchen but make sure and bring everything you need if you’re cooking in as well as any oils, sprays, foil, etc you might need (nothing provided onsite). Location is perfect for visiting area (Sight and Sound, Bird in Hand, Strasberg Railroad, and much more)."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. It was Peaceful, serene, and relaxing. We especially loved the animals and being greeted by them every day. The host stayed in communication with us, and had provided basics we needed before arrival - down to fresh farm eggs! We enjoyed watching the horse a buggies pass by daily. You are out in the country life, but close to unique shops with goods made and sold by the Amish. We hope to be back to the area and will definitely book this place again!
