We had an amazing time for our anniversary, the staffs was above all expectations from, service, smiles and everything you ask for, the hotel is clean, beautiful view, peaceful atmosphere near the river. Anantara Hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I loved relaxing on the balcony while enjoying a cigarette—it was so peaceful. On the first floor, there was beautiful biwa (Japanese lute) music playing, and it was absolutely mesmerizing. Highly recommended!

We stayed over the Christmas holidays and the property was full. The staff were excellent and helpful. The property did feel a bit dated and being quite busy, it did not feel like a luxury stay especially compared to other properties we’ve stayed at in South East Asia. We would not stay here again.

Wish we didn’t have to leave!!

Love this hotel! Beautiful in so many ways. Peaceful setting along the Ping, stunning grounds, gorgeous pool. Staff was outstanding, helpful, friendly, efficient. Shout out to Beau who served us drinks at the Bubbly bar above the spa overlooking the pool and the river. Another shout out to the wonderful server at the Brit Bar who served us cocktails in the afternoon (and cookies!!) I don’t remember her name but she was great and very welcoming everyday. Breakfast was amazing serving both Thai and western foods. Our room was huge, with a giant comfy bed, beautiful balcony, stacking/sliding doors making a huge opening out to the balcony. Room was spotless, and cleaned twice a day with turndown service in the evening. We stayed 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer. If we make it back to Chiang Mai the Anatara will definitely be the place we come to!
