"Clean room, very good location. It was a 2 minute walk to 7/11 and a 5 minute walk to the JR station nearby, which was perfect. Only small thing was that the shower did smell after use, but considering it was separated from the rest of the room, it was manageable. All in all Shinjuku Global Hotel was a nice budget-friendly option for a family-style room. "

"Very clean. Rooms are excellent for big groups. Space might be tight but still doable. The beds are very soft and comfy. Walkable distance to main Shibuya."

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"It was super close to the Shinsaibashi Dotonbori area, and a 5-15 minute Luup (scooter) ride away from most points of interest around town.
Very clean, contemporary, basic, but with all the amenities you need in case you forgot your tooth brush, comb or even packaged qtips, nice bed, good adjustable ac, and tons of shops and restaurants within a short walk. "

"The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. All of the communication with the owner was via the Expedia site - we never met anyone in person, but got check-in instructions via messages...

"The property was clean and very well maintained. The room that we were assigned to was on the 9th floor where the laundry is located, which was very convenient. The rooms were huge and every room has large windows and a view. The bathroom was a good size one and there's even a closet. The beds are lifted so suitcases can fit under the bed for more room. Unfortunately, the refrigerator did not have a freezer. There's free coffee and tea with a bottled water each day if you wish. The staff are excellent and the amenities are incredible. GREAT hotel for children as well with cinema, a bowling alley, an Aqua Park with live dolphin shows, a gym, and a food court. There was NO ONSEN though. Most of the staff are able to help you in English. The Hapuna Restaurant had a fabulous buffet. A bit pricey I thought but nonetheless, it was fabulous. There are many, many, restaurants around the property to choose from. The JR stations are less than 5 mins away and very convenient! It rained a lot but the hotel gave us umbrellas which you can return when you are done with it. AWESOME PLACE TO STAY!!"
"Recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable one night stay before catching your flight at NRT, The rooms were spacious, they had busses to shuttle you to airport, They had separate buses based on the terminal. Rooms were very spacious. Highly recommend for staying close to airport. Use shuttle from the airport dont try to walk with luggage. Staff was very helpful. Its an hour away from tokyo so dont use this to base of your city visit."
"Excellent hotel. Great service. Very useful amenities specially the lounge on 47th floor was great to relax. We also tried the Sushi and Tempura restaurant which weee fantastic. helpful staff except one individual at concierge who seemed rude to my wife but overall all other staff were very helpful. Concierge also helped me book restaurant reservations. Great hotel…highly recommend it."
"I could not recommend this hotel more highly. We were first time travellers to Japan and the hotel’s amenities were excellent and the location was fantastic"
